The view was beautiful, the room was spacious, and the front desk staff were super friendly and kind. Unfortunately, the restaurant experience was a complete disappointment. The moment we walked in, the bald man working there seemed unhappy to see us and immediately told us we needed a reservation. When we checked in earlier, we had asked about this and were told no reservation was required since the restaurant is for hotel guests only. We waited far too long for our food. By the time it arrived, it was already cold. The “ginger chicken” literally had pieces of raw, unpeeled ginger in it, and my salad never even arrived. A simple salad should not take that long to prepare, yet it never came at all. The poor service and unprofessional attitude completely ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner. The front desk kindly sent two desserts to our room afterward, which was a thoughtful gesture, but it didn’t make up for the terrible dining experience. If you stay here, I highly recommend eating somewhere else instead of the hotel restaurant.

Upon arrival front desk lady was not very nice , then man that took us to room was extremely rude and pointed to room and didn’t even offer to help my wife with her 2 bags - didn’t show anything in room and just pointed and walked away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was amazing, the pool was very nice and the view is one of the best we have had. Very quiet. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!

The hotell is OK I guess. No wifi, the bathroom could be cleaner and the bed was terrible. Other than that the hotell is okei becouse of the fant that the poolside and Malin building is in good shape, other than that i would have given it 2/10. Overall I wouldnt recomend it unfortunatelly.

Quiet hotel suitable for older couples or families. On top of a hill, so lovely views of surrounding countryside and coastline. Car needed as it is a lengthy climb out of town, although there is an adjacent bus stop. Staff helpful and friendly, conversing well in English, and buffet breakfast perfectly adequate to start the day. Nice clean swimming pool, again with lovely views, but plenty of steps to rooms and pool. Enjoyed our stay (2nd), and plan to return to this lovely unspoilt area of Sardinia - and hopefully be again greeted at reception by Cinzia's welcoming smile!

This hotel was perfectly adequate for our trip to Sardinia, we knew we would be out and about all day and didnt want to pay too much. The ladies behind the reception desk were charming and helpful and the hotel was quiet with lovely sea views as it was perched up on the hill a couple of miles outside Cannigione. The downsides were the nightly invasion of a coachload of tourists who ate all the buffet breakfast like a swarm of locusts, the hotel obviously relies on this late season business and the breakfast was far too basic, even if there had of been anything much left. The beds were rock hard and the shower was not big enough to swing a cat in, with very poor water pressure, the bathroom and bedroom were very clean though. The pool was nice but the surrounding area was run down, it could have been made far more appealing with some pots of geraniums and less utilitarian sunbeds. This could be a great little hotel but it need to raise its game, it would be worth doing.

This is a nice hotel, with a great view and a very competitive price. The front desk speaks little English, and we speak little Italian, yet we were always able to get help if we needed it. Our shower hose broke and they fixed very quickly. There are a few things the hotel could improve on: The pool is closed from 1600 to 1800 every day for cleaning – buy one of the vacuum hose cleaners that are autonomous, run it at night and let people enjoy the pool during the day. The GPS coordinates are not on the site, and the ones on Google Maps are wrong. The correct GPS Coordinates are 41.11734N, 009.42313E. We had a car so we were not tied to shuttle. The hotel website says they are on shuttle route, we saw shuttle in town but did not see it at the motel. Rooms were pretty standard for Europe. Not large, shower stall very small, but all in all this hotel was much less per night than the hotels closer to the beach, had a great pool with a great view from the pool, and friendly staff.

The service at the hotel is outstanding. Very service minded and helpful people. The location is 5 km out of the city centre, great view and quiet surroundings. But the hotel needs to restoration. Everything is +10 years old. The hotel is highly priced from that perspective.

Hotel Micalosu is a really friendly hotel. Set out on the hillside with beautiful views to the sea, it makes for the perfect location for a relaxing break. The staff were always ready to help, offering advice, making phone calls on our behalf for information (such as local trips, restaurants and scooter hire) and giving us lifts to and from the beach. The hotel has a homely 'village' feel, a great pool with beautiful views along the coast and the advantage of being up a hill and so a bit cooler with a breeze on scorching hot days. Most visitors had a car which is an advantage but not a necessity...as long as you don't mind a 25 minute walk in to Cannigione (it is a steep climb!), which we didn't, but it won't suit everyone! I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Micalosu and the area to couples, families and solo travellers alike - I would love to go back.

Fantastisk hyggelig sted, veldig autentisk Italiensk. veldig bra frokost og kort og kjøre til alt. litt luftigere på toppen av fjellet som gir litt mere luft på varme dager. Vi ble fire ekstra netter, da vi hadde planlagt og bo på et hotell til.

O hotel fica em Cannigione, bem no centro da Costa Esmeralda, estando nele acessamos de carro com facilidade (20 a 30 minutos) todas as praias da costa. O hotel é familiar e todos são simpáticos e prestativos. O café da manhã é fantástico, muitas opções gostosas num terraço com uma vista incrível! O quarto em que ficamos era pequeno, porém, como raramente estávamos nele, ficou tudo bem. A vila também é gostosa para jantar e passear a noite. Recomendo muito e voltaria com certeza!

Nous sommes arrives et nous avons ete acceuillis par Giovanni. Il nous a expliqué qu il y avait un problème avec notre réservation. En effet, nous avions réservé une chambre pour 4 personnes mais l hotel n a pas de chambre pour 4. Mais Giovanni avait anticipé et contacter le site. Et nous avons eu deux chambres vu piscine et vu mer...Giovanni a ete notre sauveur pour bien commencer notre sejour. Merci Giovanni tu es une belle personne avec un grand coeur.

Hôtel agréable, isolé dans la colline, tranquille. Piscine agréable. Personnel à l'écoute, dommage qu'il ne parle pas français.

Bella struttura immersa nella macchia sarda, proprietà e dipendenti cordiali, pulizia della camera giornaliera e ben curata. Tranquillità assicurata, ma un po’ distante dal mare, che viene sopperito dalla piscina.

Un lugar maravilloso, jardines preciosos , una gran piscina..la vista al mar preciosa, personal encantador.

Pas d'insonorisation, télé des voisins à 1h00 du matin, départ en fanfare des tours opérators à 6h00. Impossible de dormir bien. Avoir du café au petit déjeuner est un challenge, les jus de fruits sont synthétiques. Service déplorable. Réceptionniste irresponsable qui prend vos cartes d'identité et oublie de les rendre. Bref, n'importe quoi.

Hotellet var helt ok, rummen var rena och servicen var bra. Jag ger hotells fyra stjärnor som bedömning av besöket men det är inte ett fyrstjärnigt hotell.
