A quick visit, but lots of choice for breakfast and a pleasant stay.

Great little find here! Lovely pub with great atmosphere, food fab with onsite restaurant. The room was really well presented and lovely decor. My room was facing south and west on the hottest day of the year, thankfully the staff provided a fan and there was a well stocked fridge in the room too. Breakfast was continental style in the room in a lovely hamper, plus yogurts, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Would go back again when in the area. Thanks team.

Lovely rooms and setting.

Lovely pub, rooms are newly renovated and very clean. I went for a standard double, was cosy but if I was with a partner I’d definitely book a bigger space. There was a breakfast hamper with a good selection of cereal, granola, pastry and fruit. Pint of milk and water in the fridge. The staff were lovely and the locals said the food is amazing, I had eaten before arrival but will be going g back for food with family very soon! I’ll stay again since it’s close to family and was a lovely little place.

The room and corridor were decorated very tastefully. The room was rather small. We were disappointed that breakfast was in the room. It was a good breakfast but there was no room for a table and we had to eat breakfast perched on the bed. Why can’t the baskets be taken downstairs with a small area to make hot drinks so as to enjoy breakfast comfortably or perhaps the baskets could just be left downstairs.

My colleague and I stayed here for a work trip and we loved it! The rooms were clean and comfy - with beautiful views. So handy to have a continental breakfast in our bedroom as we had early starts both days. The food in the pub was delicious with lovely service. The staff were so kind and helpful - special thanks to Sarah and the lovely housekeeper (sorry I didn't catch her name). Great location. Highly recommend!

The room was immaculate and loved the breakfast basket, great little touch, great big shower too, can't fault the room at all, staff were very friendly and helpful. Ant plenty of parking, will deffinately stay there again

A warm friendly welcome from the landlord. Nice room, they don't serve breakfast but leave a nice hamper in the room for a DIY breakfast, nice touch. Very easy access to M54

I just needed a nice, clean room for an impromptu overnight stay. I stayed in room 3 and it was my first booking with this property. I checked in after 9pm and staff were friendly and welcoming. The provisions laid out in the room for breakfast were really welcome and well presented. The bed was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. Only negatives were one of the outer panes of glass in the window were smashed, which was a bit concerning. The other was the extractor fan in the bathroom was almost blocked with caked on dust. Nasty! I enjoyed my stay and would likely stay again even with the slight negatives.

Plenty of parking, the room was clean and the welcome friendly.The downside was the restaurant was closed when arrived so the alternative was to go out again. We didn't bother, it might have been better to have had some notice of this and we could made other arrangements it didn't spoil matters.

We arrived late at night after leaving a hotel 15 minutes away that turned out to be dreadful. We felt so welcome here - the kindest, most welcoming people, and very cosy, spotless, pretty rooms, with welcome baskets of much-appreciated snacks. Very comfy, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. We will definitely stay again on our trips to visit family locally.
