Lovely old hotel with a lot of character. Beautiful grounds and an excellent restaurant. We had a lovely stay here.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. From the check-in process to the last minute check out it was a seamless and enjoyable experience. The staff at the bar was so attentive and accommodating that they were able To prep us food even outside of the restaurant hours, when we arrived starving, the food was delicious and the service was excellent! We enjoyed the gardens and the pool area, as well as our room. Everything was perfect!

We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the beautiful setting of the property. The grounds, terrace, and pool area were absolutely lovely and made it feel like a peaceful escape just outside the city. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and breakfast each morning was very good. We stayed in one of the loft rooms, which was spacious and unique. The only downside for me was a fairly strong air freshener scent in the room, which I personally didn’t love. Overall though, we had a very enjoyable stay.

We loved staying here and the staff was amazing. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to enjoy being outside in their gorgeous gardens much but we did have some spectacular views of Siena when we did. We didn't realize when we booked how far from city centre we would be, but the good thing was that the bus picked us up at the bottom of the driveway and for 1.70 each took us to the city centre . Also, even though the loft in our unit was beautiful, i didn't expect that the washroom would be downstairs which wasn't so convenient in the middle of the night. Breakfast buffet was great and cappuccino and café latte made for us upon request, was very delicious

Elizabeth, Sara were fantastic at the front desk and advice throughout the Villa. Very professional and helpful. Ruth and Roger did an excellent job of taking care of us and always being available.

This hotel is a total scam. They state that no outside food or drinks are allowed on the premises. One night, staff saw us bringing a pizza back to our room but said nothing at the time. The next morning, they suddenly demanded a €50 fine. We tried to reason with them, but they insisted on charging my credit card anyway. This was an unfair dispute and an unreasonable charge. Luckily, my credit card company eventually reversed the €50 charge. Please think twice before booking this hotel.

Stayed in this villa for a couple of nights. It’s a great option if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city center. The location is lovely, with birds chirping in the background. The rooms were small, but they had all the necessary amenities for travelers. I had dinner and breakfast once each day. While the food was sufficient, I think it would be better to have more options given the 4-star rating of the property. The staff members were helpful and friendly.

The villa was wonderful and absolutely beautiful. My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here.

I'll start off by saying all the staff- only a handfull on site ,were great but seemed to be doing multiple roles ie very understaffed. No sign of a manger at all during our 3 day stay and staff seemed to be operating under "pressure" Perhaps at the height of the summer I may have had a different experience as the outside terraces etc were all shutdown and that's where you'd want to be rather than inside the hotel.... This is a tired old property that hasn't been updated in many many years. Old soiled carpets, stained furniture, mismatched odd furniture just placed around the building. A constant smell of stale cigerette smoke especialy in the lobby and stairwell to the rooms. Bedroom and bathroom linens were beyond old and worn. Our room was large and sparsely furnished with an onsuite that had a handheld shower in a precariously narrow tub which nessesitated some acrobatics to shower successfully. I see why they have a payment in full upfront with policy, as we would have and I witnessed another couple try to shorten their stay but recieve no refund.. Overall, a very dissapointing stay for such a beautiful city. Surprised and dissapointed that Expedia promote it so highly ... Think "Faulty Towers", Siena style ... if you get the reference, you know what i mean!

Stunning property. Big room, clean. Liked breakfast. Had dinner one evening. Not really worth the cost. Found it very noisy, was hoping for a peaceful location. First a dog barking then frequent garden machinery noise probably a leaf blower/ vacuum. Obviously pride in the gardens. Staff nice in restaurant. Most reception helpful. Checking out don't think asked if enjoyed

Beautiful boutique hotel outside of Siena city. We stayed in the deluxe room and it was perfect. There is no shuttle but a bus stops right outside the hotel- we found this wasn’t very dependable and relied on taxis at times (€14 each way) While the hotel is close to the city, it’s not walkable, so take that into consideration. Breakfast was a typical continental, my only complaint was the time it took to get the hot food to the table, it was either forgotten or took a very long time. The staff serving were excellent but 1 server for a full breakfast room isn’t adequate. The hotel grounds are beautiful.
