Location is superb, close to the St. Stephen cathedral, on a very quiet street. Clean, cozy, with oversized bads and rooms. The breakfast was good. We will definitely recommend the place.

My wife & I recently stayed at Hotel Domizil in Vienna and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is ideal for exploring the historic centre, but what really made the stay special was the outstanding staff, especially Dagmar Niel (in the photo) head of reception who had a smile for every guest. Everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with directions, recommendations, or any small request. It created a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere throughout our visit. The breakfast each morning was a real highlight. There was a generous and varied selection of fresh, high-quality food, with something for every taste. It felt more like a leisurely start to the day than just a hotel breakfast. The rooms were also surprisingly large for a central Vienna hotel, very comfortable, and well kept. Having that extra space & 3 chairs made a big difference after a full day of sightseeing. On the morning of my wife's birthday we were presented with a small bottle of champagne at the breakfast table. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend Hotel Domizil to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and an excellent base in Vienna.

An older European hotel just off Stephanplatz. Decent breakfast spread, very friendly front desk and breakfast staff. Rooms good size for European standards. A/C did not appear to be working, but windows opened and weather cooperated.

Love the location. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and fresh makes us full of energy to start a day! I would love to stay here again:)

During our trip, we stayed at three different hotels. Radisson Blu was our favorite. From the moment that we arrived, staff was so attentive. Guilio made sure we were aware of all the hotel offered and the amenities in our room. Our room was lovely and spacious. As far as roaming around Salzburg, you cannot beat the location. You stepped out the back door, and you are immediately in the Square and into history. I cannot recommend the hotel enough. Excellent room. Excellent staff. Excellent location.

A great hotel in the centre of Vienna, close to all the sites and public transport. Comfortable clean room, staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Breakfast menu had a variety of yogurts, jams, breads, cereal, scrambled eggs, mini sausage and bacon.

Brilliant location a few hundred metres from Stephenplatz. Staff very helpful, decor a little jaded and no communal area. Still well worth staying.

Location EXCELLENT, staff friendliness EXCELLENT. Hotel need some renovation. The bathroom was extremely uncomfortable. Shower head in the middle of the bathtub which made it difficult not to splash water all over. There was a glass-curtain that only covered half of the tub which made the splashing even worse, we had to use towels to clean the floors. Definitely bathrooms need renovation. But overall good location

Continental breakfast, fresh bread, cheese, sliced meat. More important is the location of the hotel in relation to the city. Cozy shopping area, walkable streets, restaurants all over….! Explore and enjoy.

Easy to reach from the train station. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I’d stay there again.

I would give it 5 stars but took one off due to a need for updates in regard to room. The shower over tub was very difficult to climb in and out from, plus the room decor was basically nonexistent, nothing on the walls. Needs some updating. Otherwise the hotel staff was awesome and the breakfast was the best we had during our visit to 4 major cities in Austria and Germany. I would also say that the price here was higher than the other hotels we stayed at that all had better room conditions. A bit overpriced but I’m sure that’s because of the location and convenience in the heart of Vienna.
