The pool & surroundings are incredible. The staff that I met were excellent -kind & helpful- especially Anastasia, Eva and manager Joel. My room was spacious as well as the lovely, huge balcony that overlooked the pool. Breakfast is $15.00 euros but there are no hot items unless you make some toast. (But if you enjoy a light breakfast, it's fine - just not like a North American breakfast) There is no ice machine, but I did suggest to the manager that they get one as most guests do enjoy ice in drinks in hot weather. Lovely area, but you do need a car unless you Uber to St. Paul de Vence or Cagnes-Sur-Mer, which I had to do. Ubers are reasonably priced and quick from here and you are under 15 minutes from the Nice airport. It is also a 5 minute Uber ride to a huge outdoor mall with lots of restaurants of all types. I am avid traveller and I would stay here again. :)

A nice travelers hotel. Pool was nice and beautifully maintained. Gate at front is locked but code is available for late night check ins. Grounds are immaculate and very popular with the guests. Its close to Nice airport, for pickups and departures. All in all, a great option for a reasonably priced stay.

The hotel is well-maintained and clean. It's easily accessible by car; without one, it's not an option.

The manager was very kind and stayed up late to welcome us. The hotel is nice and a great location for visiting Saint Paul de Vence which is just up the hill about 10 minutes.

This hotel is a spectacular little getaway retreat. Just about a mile from Saint Paul de Vence, beautifully kept, warm and welcoming staff. Highly recommend!

This is a charming bed & breakfast type property. It is basically a large home that has been converted to accommodate visitors. The owners live in the property. We stayed there for 4 days, mainly because of its proximity to Grasse, Nice, Cannes and Monaco. I would say that it is overpriced for what you get, but the whole South of France is overpriced during this season. If you’re coming to this area thinking about getting value for money, then you’re clearly not thinking. It’s a charming little family run property. You can’t spend the day there. It’s just a place where you can sleep, have breakfast, and go explore the area. Don’t expect too much of a variety at breakfast. They have a pool, but the beach in the surrounding areas are much nicer. The property has parking and air conditioning in the rooms. That’s something that is unique in the South of France. So, I’d say that it’s something like an AirBnB but serviced daily with air conditioning and parking. Yeah…that’s what it is.

Great 3* hotel (with pool and loungers) for a few days if you’re driving through and need a base to explore. The town itself is great (still really need your own transport to get there) and the Commune de Gourdon is also an excellent place to visit. Check-in was quick, reception was super-helpful, and the room was clean and quiet. A day trip (driving) to Monaco was a breeze from here.

We were there only for one night, checked in late, but the owner was waiting for us with clear instructions even though we did not speak French. Beautiful place, wish we spent londer time there.

This is an excellent hotel to stay in when visiting St Paul. The reception is so welcoming and helpful I would recommend this hotel highly

The Hotel Bastides is a pleasant hotel in a good location. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I would make is the addition of outside lighting after dark. It is difficult to navigate all the steps up and down in the dark.

Staff was incredible. Location was beautiful. The room was perfect for our family of 4. They had a bassinet ready in our room before check-in. Check in and check out was smooth and effortless. Would absolutely stay there again.

Great place for family

The outdoor area with pool is beautiful. The owner is friendly and helpful. However the restaurant only serves breakfast. The property is more like an American motel vs a true hotel. The place could use some updating and refreshing. The rooms were small but the AC was nice.

Travelling as a family with 2 children, we had a lovely stay for a week at the end of August. The owners are very charming and create a calm low key relaxed feel to your stay. It couldn’t have been better. We had a family room with a large double and two single beds. The room was very spacious and the air-conditioning worked well. The weather was very hot for the time of year but the room and the swimming pool were very cooling and relaxing. The buffet breakfast had an excellent selection. It’s a short drive up to the village of St Paul which is beautiful and our preferred place for dinner. There’s an open air shopping mall a very short drive back towards Nice. We’d definitely stay again next time we head to the Cote d’Azure.
