The hotel was a great location in the middle of town. The room for three people was so cute. There was a cubby cut into the wall for a bed. My 6 foot tall teenager fit there. We lost something while at the hotel, and they found it for us and then we picked it up. A great stay

Excellent on all counts, superb breakfast, lovely setting, comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms, clever design, topnotch staff...not cheap, but unmistakeable world-class quality.

This charming property has a helpful staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, rooftop lounge, and convenient location. The town is also charming with ample restaurants and walkable Medieval streets. Each room in the hotel has its own decor. We wish we had planned to stay more than one night and would stay here again.

A charming old hotel, but with modern facilities. Easy check in, with onsite parking. Staff absolutely excellent, always smiling, always chatting and happy to help. Romm comfortable, but we do wish there was a kettle on room, rather than having to ask for a flask of hot water every time we wanted a cuppa. The flak was always willingly provided, but not quite boiling water, so the tea was not quite up to scratch. Excellent location for the old town.

We had a two room small suite. Queen sized bed in the main room, twin in the second room. The hotel is in a great location. Minutes walk from the busy downtown, quiet at night, next to a grocery store and easy in/out in a car. The roof terrace is a great place to relax. The room was very clean when we arrived and the staff extremely helpful in making recommendations and tips for visiting the castles. I thought the rate was a great bargain; even with the small suite, it was the cheapest on my entire Germany trip.

Cute hotel - conveniently located near the train station and the main part of town. Very nice breakfast. The hotel restaurant is a great option for dinner. Ask for a room on a higher floor or for one of their “motif” rooms.

Hotel Hirsch is a beautiful, traditional hotel, with an excellent restaurant. It is lovingly decorated. It has a rooftop viewing area with tables. It has a steam-heated warming rack for towels or clothes, too. It's near the old town or alte Stadt.

Very charming hotel in a great location; but, the shower is awful - almost impossible to use it without flooding the floor.
