Comfortable rooms and convenient location. Staff were helpful and professional. It was easy to store our bags at the front desk after our early cruise-port arrival before our rooms were ready, and again after checkout before heading to the airport for our evening flight. We did experience a fair amount of street noise. Our room was on the side alley and in addition to late-night revelers walking by at all hours (especially on weekends), there were huge rattling/banging/scraping sounds for 15-20 minutes at a time in the middle of the night (taking the trash out? delivering/removing linens?). It presumably wasn't as loud as it would have been on a major street, but it did disrupt our sleep multiple times. (White noise apps on our phones helped!) We weren't able to get the A/C working the first night (so it was hot and stuffy, and we didn't have the white noise that the fan made, which was helpful for the outside noise). But the next morning, the desk clerk came up and fiddled with it and got it to work (very unintuitive; the unit turns off if you set it "too low"). We were worried about whether taxis would bring us there, after hearing other travelers' stories about access to the roads within the Gothic Quarter -- but we didn't have a problem, though one taxi did ask to drop us off at the top of the road (a very short walk away).

Did not have breakfast so could say. I was disappointed as there was no restaurant in hotel, however, sorrounding places are very good

Really enjoyed our stay at Catalonia Avinyo. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. Had my best coffee here and wines from the bar vary nice (and we're fussy). Very close to Leuce metro and La Rambla. Irish pub across the road served simple but delicious hamburgers when we were too tired to go further afield.

Great location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. No street noise but could be echoey in the atrium. Staff was very helpful and the coffee bar on the first floor was convenient.

Clean room everyday

Reception staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The room seems dated & there was a constant sound coming from the electric panel that was a bit unpleasant . Coffee shop by reception was great too

Overall excellent value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was our room was by the alleyway below and constantly smelt of smelly drains. Not the hotels fault.

The location is fantastic. The staff were all incredibly helpful and kind. It is a small hotel and the rooms are on the smaller side, but it was an incredible value.

The hotel was clean, great location, and the staff were all lovely. We took an overnight flight and arrived in the morning exhausted. Our room was ready and they allowed us to check in well before check in time. It was a life saver. Great experience!

Great location for a good price, nice foyet with some coffee and snacks, rooms are clean and tidy but a bit small. Can be noisy at night with inconsiderate people and undesirables, doors are constantly closing loud bangs and walls are thin so can hear everthing at night, not good for a light sleeper
