Nice big room but little more, Huge pool but it was completely unusable by anyone human due to the unnaturally cold temperature, if you were somehow brave enough to get in you were soon informed you were breaking the pool rules in some way by the pool side staff, oh and don’t forget to pay for towels before you get in the pool or it’s a wet walk to reception to pay All sun-beds had towels on them by first light something I had until now thought was just a joke, the kids pool gets the sun first so all these sun beds are immediately blocked by sun worshipers, parents can’t sit anywhere near their children in the pool you have to stand or sit a distance away in the shade Room was big but basic, shutters didn’t work, sink blocked, electric tripped every time we used any appliance Two local “convenience shops” were dreadful, dirty, expensive and staffed by rude people The beach area was just awful, accessed by what seems to be an overflow tunnel next a swamp it was dirty and unsafe for kids The worse part was the terrible smell, next to a reception is a god awful pizza / Indian restaurant which the bad smell of bad curry greats you as you first arrive, by the time we left everything we own stank of said curry smell Zero to see or do for miles around the complex, everything requires a bus or taxi to get to except the handy seedy nudest beach Promoted as a family friendly resort with lots of entertainment no evidence of this other than the daily pool side bingo, 2/10 Max

The restaurant was the best, we had great experience

I am very sorry but things went very bad for us as a family of 6, with a young 6 year old child. The whole apartment of 52 was infested with ants and flies. Especially the ground floor toilet/shower room was heavily infested which made it unusable. We could hardly sleep, we were controlling those pests with an insecticide spray which was given to us but its smell was so bad/strong and seemed poisonous that we had to stop using it and had to cope with the terrible situation the whole night. I have several sites of insect bits on my arms and legs and am still itching almost all over my body with redness and rashes on my arms and legs/back. We only managed to sleep few hours interrupted. The staff were helpful and attentive but for an accommodation like this the level of hygiene and pest control must ideally be much better.

The resort was great except for the lack of communication. We stood by the “lifeguard” literally about 50cm from him, discussing towels and where we get them. He could hear us. We saw a sign for beach towels in a cupboard, I assumed he didn’t work there as he failed to acknowledge us. Then when I reached in for a towel, he got mad at me. I asked him what the process was as we had zero idea (not informed of process by front desk) and he told to go to reception. I asked where reception was and he

Stayed here a few times now and it once again we had a great holiday. Studio apartments are spacious, clean with great balconies. Everything that you need in the kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer. They even leave filter coffee for for machine and other essentials. Cleaning was done every three days with lots of towels and bedding was changed once for our stay. Pool area is large with lots of sunbeds and the cushions were all being changed for new ones. The on sight restaurant has just been taken over by a local restauranteir, food is amazing and prices very reasonable. Good selection of drinks and they make a lovely Aperol Spritze. All staff are so friendly and reception staff are always so welcoming. Can’t wait to return very soon.

L’appartement est très propre ,bien décoré et très bien équipé. Le complexe est très agréable et le personnel très gentil et accueillant. Seul bémol l’insonorisation n’est pas très bon on entend les voisins qui n’étaient pastures discrets

Only there for the weekend but staff and apartment were excellent, only down point was the lack of English channels on the TV

A good short stay. Lovely 1 bedroom apartmeht, however it was situated overlooking a road, which can be noisy at times. Also our apartment was close to ongoing renovations, so again, noisy at times plus dusty.

Everything is good

Terrible management, inflexible about rebookings and returns for stays not actualized. The area smells like sewage water due to the sewage pipes across the road by the beach. The property was clearly built sometime in the 70s or 80s. It's very old and run down.

Poor customer service! No refillling of tea and sugar, was told 60p per sugar satchets! Hotel was fairly empty, when checked for late check out - was told €10 per hour.. This hotel is like Ryanair, Budget class. Should be stripped off it’s 4*. There was also no good reception when we arrived for check-in. No smiling face of the night receptionist and also had to wait almost 30 mins after cold rainy journey from airport. Hence, overall experience is Terrible!! This is based on the service received in the off-peak/quiet season. So - disappointing overall! FYI, we were there for 1 whole week!!

Staff helpful Rooms clean , a little dated but good value for price

The reception staff was great! The room was economical, nothing fancy. The pool was large and the area was attractive, but we didn’t use it due to cool weather. It was well-placed near the motorway and surrounding areas.

My room was supposed to be cleaned on the 4th day. A bag of towels was left on my door. I was told they would be there by 6 No cleaning occurred. The washing machine ruined 2 of my tops. Completely chewed them up to the point that they were not wearable any longer and had to be trashed. The shampoo combination hair wash was terrible quality. As a Hilton property did not feel the quality. The initial person I had at check in was very helpful and friendly. Other staff treated me as if they were being inconvenienced when asked a question.

The room was immaculate and a well equipped kitchen, the staff at the resort could not have been more helpful.

This was a last minute booking because we were tired of the wind in Tarifa. We received excellent service and really enjoyed the facilities and amenities. I wish we had booked more nights.
