It all started with arrival and being told credit card machine was down could we pay cash. This hotel on apple advertising as a crowne plaza hotel and using that logo in fact this is almost a hostel. No cold water in shower and couldn't fix it. So it was 30 degrees and couldn't take a cold or even lukewarm shower. Front side so notified and did nothing. No food on premises, no coffee maker in room. I don't mind any of this if the price is fair but this was $250 cad a night and was pathetic. I have been happier in steel sheds in the middle of Himalayas of camping in mountains.

Short walk to many locations. Nice area to walk between hotel and Holland Park where I went. Shops and restaurants opposite, polite and helpful staff. I was treated with dignity and respect as a female solo traveller, there was someone at reception when I arrived, I met the cleaner and I had fans and a fridge in my room which was great in the hot weather.

Room was clean, a little bit of damp staining on the walls and a little bit of mould in the bathroom. Shower was a waterfall shower (needs descaling) but was absolutely lovely after my chemical gig. Beds were comfy same with the pillows Clean throughout. Had a fridge, kettle cups, towels, tea etc. Shops very close by. Sky TV. Wifi was good too. Daughter was there whilst we went to a gig. She sat outside for a bit waiting for us to come back and the staff member checked to make sure she was ok. Sat with her for a bit. He is very friendly, super attentive. If you need anything you can just whatsapp and he'll reply Only issue i really found was there is no air con, just normal standing fans. In this weather if you're on the top floor you will wake in a puddle of sweat. Or not sleep at all. Otherwise I cannot fault this hotel. I would definitely stay again.. just maybe not up the 3 flights of stairs after standing at a gig for hours. Id give this hotel 8/10. 😃

Great location and clean room

The host was lovely, the room was filthy. It was a budget hotel, staying for work so I didn’t expect luxury but there’s no excuse for poor cleaning standards. At the age of 44 I played floor is lava and slept in my clothes!

The person who had met me at the door and helped was absolutely amazing! Had an issue with my booking as they couldn’t find it, but then ended up sorting a room out for me, couldn’t be anymore happier! Definitely stay again

Very well positioned for our visit. Only needed a budget room for the night and this served it's purpose. Proprietor was very helpful.

Staff were conspicuously absent; this establishment felt more akin to a refugee camp. The guest rooms were dreadful, with pillows as flattened and uneasy as a sheet of paper. The bathroom's air vent was cloaked in a thick layer of grime. Furthermore, during my two-day stay, not a single person came to service the room or provide fresh towels. I encountered a refrigerator that emitted a foul odor the instant I opened it; why would I ever store anything inside? If you are seeking an inexpensive, abysmal lodging, this is precisely it. Never again.

Good stay. They were kind enough to offer us a bigger room due to delay in cleaning. Because of the location, it was pretty noisy but all in all, good stay. Will book again.

Apartment converted to hotel, with fridge. Very convenient and near shopping and dining.

You get what you pay for… it was fine for the money

The room was neglected, some dirt and coffee marks on the walls and skirtings, dirty carpet next to fridge and under the desk. No milk only coffee and tea. The bedroom radiator didnt work so bathroom was warmest place. Shower didnt drain properly and almost flooded the bathroom. Staff were friendly and professional

If you're looking to enjoy your stay in London, don't stay here. The rooms are tiny, kitted out with a disgusting full size fridge, scale ridden coffee and a bathroom with bloodstains. I could have forgiven some issues if the room was clean, but it looked like even that was a stretch too far to expect. We stayed one night, any longer we'd have gotten our money back and gone elsewhere. The bathrooms look as though they have recently been renovated, however, not looked after or cleaned. The bathroom is also tiny, to the point you can not move between the toilet and the shower. This hotel also advertising self-parking on site, but there are no spaces, not even pay and display, resident parking only.

No lobby, no breakfast, no enough liquid shampoo : 2 small sachets for 4 days, no daily room cleaning. Bokking done for 2 beds, we got only one.

Good réception

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Reception was listed as open till midnight. But upon arrival at 23:30 the reception was closed. The nr on the website wasn’t picking up. As a woman traveling solo I was left to fend for myself at midnight in London. Luckily enough I could sleep on a friends couch that night. In the morning, I got told a bullstory, that reception was supposed to be open till 23:00 and that Expedia wasn’t updated. He tried calling me but their phones don’t allow international nrs (you run a hotel ffs) There is more to this story but I’m only allowed 1500 characters. - the room was filthy, the sheets had stains on them. - The room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, which you could already smell when walking up the stairs. - The room was super hot (Nov), there were two fans, that didn’t work, and covered with a thick layer of dust. I had to sleep with the window open. With the bed right underneath it. - The door had no internal lock or deadbolt of any kind. - There was no water kettle. - Supposed to have daily housekeeping, tho my room wasn’t cleaned once. After complaining about this all they did was empty out the bin the next day. - I asked to be put in a different room, but they were fully booked. - At that point I just gave up, I was tired of “complaining” for just the bare basics. Yes I stayed for the remaining of my stay. Cause I just couldn’t mentally, physically or financially cope to find a different solution. 1 star is to generous for this hell hole
