You'd expect more from a hotel of this type. At least waiters who speak English and do not pour half a liter of sangria on the table, as well as a working laundry instead of advice to washing at a gas station.

We enjoyed be so close to the Camino. It was centrally located to explore Valença and the great old town restaurants. Our favourite thing was sleeping with the windows open and hearing the church bell chimes.

Wonderful experience at this beautiful Parador. Room 203 (junior suite) was perfect with separate sitting area and corner balcony with fantastic view. We used the large pool everyday.

I strongly recommend this place. Excellent service, friendly staff, nice location, clean room with amenities. The little thing that made it special is that when they saw that I had to leave very early and that I will miss the included breakfast, they spontaneously offered to prepare a light sandwich with water and fruits, and the sandwich was ready in my room in the evening.
