I stayed at Applewood for only 2 nights, but I couldn't have picked a better spot. Easy walking distance to the centre of town, 15 minutes to the Pavilion, the Wheel and the Pier. Local bus access to Boscombe, and Christchurch. The room, though small was perfect for a short stay unlike other short stay where I could hardly get in the shower, Applewood is well designed to make a small space feel bigger. I wasn't driving but there seemed to be ample guest parking. I didn't eat at the Hotel but the restaurant and bar looked very nice and welcoming. The only difficulty was, I arrived early in the day and couldn't get in the hotel, I rang the buzzer but there was no answer, so I waited. Another couple arrived who also rang the bell, after a short wait someone did come to the door and we were allowed to leave our bags, a small inconvenience for a great stay, Would definitely choose Applewood again.

We have had an amazing few days. This lovely hotel was excellent, from our arrival to departure nothing was too much trouble. Our room, excellent, king-size bed, beautifully clean, thoughtful things little chocolates with the tea and coffee. Shower was amazing, as were the provision of toiletries. Tastefully decorated, very homely, well maintained and very good service. Breakfast was delightful. Will be staying here again when we next visit. Thank you

Toilet was dirty on arrival and mattress needs replacing very uncomfortable dipping in middle and lumpy otherwise Internet good and tv good. shower was hot and powerful.

The internet was good, however, I did not use the amenities due to work pressure. The bed was not comfortable enough so I ended up pulling it down to the floor so I could have good sleep. The bed needs changing to a comfortable one.

We really enjoyed our stay at Applewood Hotel. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the beach (6 minutes walk) and the Town Centre shops (5 minutes). Free parking onsite was an added bonus. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The receptionist was very helpful and always had a smile! Thank you for a great couple of days. I would definitely recommend Applewood and will stay again in the future.

The room I was booked in was superb. Staff are polite. Location is convenient. Parking is safe and free

Was ok very quiet heating did work for few hours but did eventually come on the door kept sticking was hard to Open and close, and the shower is very tight not much space, but. Overall appeared clean good free parking and walking distance to the town centre, the TV was great has Netflix and amazon prime and YouTube.
