The location of this hotel and view of the Foyle and Peace Bridge are second to none. The hotel is clearly in a state of transition with DoubleTree taking over, and renovations of the lobby happening. Many aspects of the hotel truly need the renovation; rooms, beds, bathrooms, the pool/hot-tub (which clearly has not been working in a very long time), to list a few. However, the staff are just amazing and the location and 'bones' have a lot to offer. Gym amenities also excellent. I think if they keep some of the charm and character, and do a proper renovation, it could easily be an excellent hotel again.

Staff were very helpful, bar staff inexperienced at making cocktails they were terrible. Very limited seating at the bar area for the evening music.. breakfast was very good

The location of the hotel and room size were amazing! Jacuzzi was out of order when we were there, and needed a swimming cap for the pool so we couldn't use them. The bathroom was nice, but the shower curtain does cling to you a bit. Overall pretty nice but not perfect.

Lovely friendly hotel. Great location. Bar food great and really good breakfast. Parking poor, extra cost and spaces limited.

Table service in bar lounge area very poor. Food excellent. Staff friendly. Shower overheating to scalding point even after repair man visit, couldnt use it on second day.

Lovely big room, great location. Downfall was the parking situation. States had parking on site, but did not stipulate that you had to pay a daily fee of 14 pounds. Even though car park is directly under the hotel and not gated so anyone off the street can access

Staff helpful. Rooms clean. Breakfast ordinary but with renovations going on can’t be too critical.

The staff were great. The housekeeping allowed us extra coffee, the food was great and the entertainment was super. We will definitely be back.

Room was big clean. Staff most helpful. Arrived at hotel early, Room not ready After check-in a nice Lady took my bag and went for walk. After check-out same happened friendly Lady looked after my bag able go out and then relaxed over cappuccino. Food good Be back again

Decent sized room and easy check in. Reception area was not where I expected it, but breakfast buffet was sufficient if self service.

Fantastic location right in the centre of Derry. Our family room was huge and plenty of space for the 3 of us. Although there was renovation happening we honestly didn't notice anything. The leisure facilities were excellent. Others have noted the parking charges, so thanks to that we parked on the road just outside Ebrington Square for free and just walked across the Peace Bridge.

Location is great. The pool was warm and enjoyable. Slept well because the room had blackouts and comfortable temperature. Shower had great water pressure even on the 5th floor. We would stay there again.

A great stay overall, staff very friendly and helpful, ease when checking in and out with lots of helpful suggestions on things to see and do whilst visiting.

The room was huge, and pretty clean, however it needs a lot of TLC. The hotel rooms are very dated.

Literally the only thing going for this place is the location. Its basically a building site for over a year yet the rooms are DATED heavilly. Old yellowed tub with a dodgey shower head over it with varying water temp. Rooms dont have air con and are not well ventilated so felt like a sweat box (in april so id avoid in summer at all costs). Sand papery bedding and the thinnest pillows known to man. Ive no idea what theyre doing this last year...but the whole place needs torn out and redone.
