Great stay, clean and quiet. A good breakfast. Only the weather was dull and cold.

We choose this hotel because of location in the nature and facilities (sauna and pool) for a short weekend. It was a big disappointment since pool and sauna was out of service. It was a general maintenance (should be planned in advance), so it should be indicated at the booking process ‘it will be closed during certain period. Customers are assessing their booking chose not only location, value but also facilities and offered services. So no informing them correctly is inappropriate and feels over paid because the offering services were not available. We stayed only 1 day, but we met other customers came to enjoy pool and sauna as a family and they were unhappy because booked for a few days for their holiday. I felt more sorry for them. In general, location was good in the nature and calm. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast was average ..

Was a bit disappointed that we had no confirmation that the swimming pool was not going to be open. Even though Hotels.com had advised it to be open by the time we got there. Also the hotel is 20km from the centre of town? So you will need a car to get there.

Rude staff

Area and staff very nice, room was rather warm but this according to staff to be upgraded in a few months. the breakfast was ok, was unable to use spa or pool as closed for renewal

The property is located in an amazing woodland with convenient access to nearby city restaurants and facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The rooms are older and need upgrades. Breakfast options very good.

Amazing place to stay in a very quiet village. Plenty to do around and easy access. Love country side with cycling route and safe place for kids to wonder around.

The hotel is clean and ready for living in. The receptionist, the young man, is very helpful and tireless to help while my car got problems. The breakfast is very goo. In a word we enjoyed the stay.

The location was very nice. The staff was nice and always helpful. There is no air conditioning so we had to keep the window open for air which isn't a problem. The issue was the smoking area under our window and the constant smell of cigarettes.

The check in was quivk and easy. The room was overall comfortable, but mattresses are in need of replacing soon and the room smelled slightly of sewage. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully situated in the forrest area. unfortunately not been modernised and renewed, but clean and good service with restaurant and pool.

Located in quiet place! Great for a weekend relaxing. Close to Giethoorn as well!

Der Aufenthalt war im allgemeinen Okay. Was nicht so schön war ist, das die Servicekraft beim Nachfüllen des Frühstücks, die Lebensmittel mit der Hand angefasst hat. Die Zimmer waren Okay. Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für 4 Sterne reicht es meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr.

The positive: House keeping was prompt each day. Bike rental was reasonably priced and very useful. Dinner was good, if slightly overpriced (didn't try breakfast). Nice location. Free WiFi worked well (unusual in my experience for a hotel) The negative: Slightly shabby rooms, poor lighting in them. Safe in room was broken (didn't need it though, so only reported it on the way out). Beds were so-so on comfort level. Broadly it felt more like a 3* than a 4* - perfectly reasonable to stay at, but that's about it. To be fair, we didn't investigate the pool.

Everything was great... though there was not nearly enough pressure in the shower... it took me ages to get the shampoo out of my hair....
