For a cheap hotel located near Gatwick Airport, I can't fault this place. We only paid £67 for 3 adults and a baby. We arrived at 8pm and was starving. Everything was ready for us. Hotel had a homely vibe to it and an Indian restaurant/takeaway in house which is why you can smell food in the lobby. It's a Bring Your Own Alcohol policy which is great if you'd like to drink as you'll save money and have your own choices. Food was nice and they're so accommodating, even brought plates and let us eat in the room as we're with the baby. There's an English menu and an Indian menu, both until 10pm. They gave us a baby cot free of charge. Parking for a night is free, has WiFi and TV in room. Even some toys for kids in the family room. Hot shower works fine. Breakfast is 5am - 9am and there's bread, butter and jams for toast, cereals, croissants, yogurt, juice, milk, Nesquick powder, some cakes in packs (Balconi and bear cakes). Don't expect a full blown breakfast of course but it's perfect, generous and I'm grateful for a quick bite before we leave. Sure there are some downsides like the shower water didn't drain as quickly, and one of the bedside lamps didn't work but can you complaint for just a quick night rest before you head off again at like 5am? If you'd like a really nice cushy place then sure, pay the price and go to a Holiday Inn or something.
I'm glad we stayed and didn't believe reviews, people are so odd and entitled sometimes. For me, I'd definitely stay again if I need to fly from Gatwick. Thank you.
