Beautiful setting, very comfortable accommodation, excellent full English and the staff were all friendly and very welcoming and helpful.

We had a great two night stay at Farington Lodge. The room was very large and clean. Staff were great and helpful. The breakfast choice was very good. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. My starter could have been a main course, it was so big. The roast main course was fantastic, with lots of roast beef. The grounds are good for a little stroll. Recommended for a break with a bit of class.

Great hotel, good clean room, excellent, polite, and very helpful staff, good food, overall a very good experience, and would definitely recommend.

I will start with the positives, the front of house staff are very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, it goes down hill on most areas. My room was cold on arrival, very dusty,stains of carpet, mark's on walls and cobwebs in bedroom and bathroom. This was a executive room, God help me, I'd booked a standard. Very poor. I have emailed the general manager, I am waiting for a response.

Overnight stay for Christmas party. Party was fab. Room was huge, a little on the cold side but didn’t bother us. Noisy at about 6am with doors banging downstairs. Breakfast okay but had better. All staff were friendly and welcoming

Nice staff - great for price

Our stay at Farington Lodge was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing and the food was great, The atmosphere in the hotel is super. We were made to feel at home by the staff. Plenty of parking and the hotel was spotless - our room was spacious, warm, had been meticulously cleaned and had everything yiu would need. The beds were excellent and we slept extremely well. The breakfast was lovely overlooking the gardens and the service was exceptional. The quality of the bacon, sausages and eggs at breakfast was superb. All the staff greeted you with a smile and a hello even if you were just walking back to your room which was great. No wonder it’s the premium choice of hotel in the area. We would not hesitate to recommend Farington lodge hotel to our friends and family.

Excellent all round

One night stay for business. We descended en mass for supper with no warning. The staff and chefs were brilliant. Food was really nice. The only reason I have said good not excellent is the heating was very hot.

Breakfast was let down by dry, left under the lights bacon and black pudding. Coffee not the best.
