The staff was very friendly, but the rooms have very poor beds and old facilities. Breakfast was very expensive, not a buffet, and the food lacked flavor. I do not recommend it due to the poor condition of the rooms.

Pros: Pool access, the rooms were big, staff was very good as everything was exceptionally clean. Good job on that. Property is huge and sprawling, lots to do, plenty of parking. Cons: Property is dated. Floors squeak, door handles jingle, showers are dodgy. Needs refurbishment badly. Not walkable to the beach inspite of being advertised as such. Verdict: Good for a day or max 2 days stay.

Friendly staff and nice place. Clean rooms, just a bit dated. Charged for luggage storage after checkout. Overall good for the price.

Great stay highly recommended. Turned up early and was allowed to leave the car there while we went for a walk.. was an easy process to check in and the room was great. A little warm but cooled down with windows open. My dad ate the breakfast Saturday morning there was a bit of a long wait and he felt ignored by staff down there however said food was nice but not enough. The only issue with the room was the shower the water was hot or boiling took a while to sort couldn’t get hold of anyone on the phone number on the door. My dad ended up turning taps on in the sink and it helped but wasn’t a great shower. However other than that beds are comfy close to everything you need will 1000% stay here again.

Very easy to book the hotel. Very nice service my kids they enjoyed the breakfast and pools. .

My stay at the Laguna Hotel was extremely disappointing. The hotel is outdated and badly in need of renovation. The beds were old and very uncomfortable, and the noise levels were unacceptable, making it almost impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. The room was not cleaned during my stay, which was very disappointing and below the standard I expected. Overall, the hotel does not offer good value for money. The only positive aspect is the location, which is convenient and close to the beach. Unfortunately, that alone is not enough to make up for the poor condition of the hotel and the lack of service. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Really wonderful welcome from the staff. Hotel is dated but the family room was massive. Swimming pool is dated too but was a great facility to have on-site. The hotel has a wonderful cycle path just behind it that walks you into town within 15 mins through some beautiful gardens. Main downside were the pillows that were rock hard. But for the price you got a lot for your money.

Our room was not clean at all since we stayed. We stayed for 4 nights. On the fourth day they put us new towels and thats it. Room was not cleaned, i was so disappointed.

A perfect place for an affordable rice situated within walking distance of everything you may want to do , the beach , eating places etc . It’s clean and comfortable . A simple breakfast , more than enough . Very helpful staff . A bonus pool and jacuzzi !

i did not find any bad faults with the hotel for the price it was good value and the main thing for me it was clean.the only thing i found . is it was very dated i would book with this hotel again.and i would recomend it

I would like to say our stay at the laguna hotel was lovely and the manager Ali and all the staff in the dining room and reception staff were so friendly helpful and could not do enough for us to be comfortable I will definately stay again thank you all so much briony Ali Jessie and the rest of you

The reception staff were excellent and welcoming. However, the room was let down by an old carpet that smelled damp, dusty, and stuffy, making the environment feel unpleasant. There was also a lack of consideration for noise, as other residents played loud music and talked throughout the night, and the sound carried easily through the walls, making it difficult to sleep. With new carpets and better management of noise from other service users, this could be a much better place to stay.

The hotel had everything needed for a short stay but would have struggled if staying longer in the summer due to lack of fridges or aircon in the rooms.

good hotel stay for family

It is a lovely place. Not far away from Bournemouth Pier. The swimming pool is amazing but I would not call a gaming room a gaming room. If you stay with a young age child I would suggest to ask for a room a bit further from the hotels bar due to cigarettes smoke and noise we had to keep our windows closed.
