This McDonald Hotel needs a definite updating. Much of it is outdated and tired looking. The staff and service were excellent and you can’t beat the location. The breakfast buffet was good, but could benefit by rotating items and providing more fresh fruit such as berries. The restaurant is only rated average for dinner with a very traditional and boring menu. The rear exit stair/lift is convenient for getting to Windsor Central train station and it surrounding restaurants and shops, but had an odd odor. An investment in a full renovation would go a long ways.

It has underground parking at £40 per night. The room was a small double compared to our previous stay. Staff are helpful.

Service was not great, especially at check in, and there was dirt and small bugs in the bathtub when we arrived.

Our room was a good size having upgraded to deluxe but cleaning did not happen as a matter of course.The service in Caleys restaurant was poor and the food was unimaginative. Breakfast buffet was cleared very promptly with the coffee machine being turned off first ,just before 10am so we were unable to finish our breakfast with a hot drink. A wonderful location but better ,more welcoming service would have improved our stay no end. The hotel seemed understaffed.

The hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from Windsor Castle. Beds were comfy and AC worked well. They did have our room ready early, which was a huge bonus. It is quite dark inside, including the common hallways as well as the rooms themselves. Large and tall bathtub makes it kind of difficult to get into the shower.

Lovely boutique hotel across the street from Windsor Castle. Breakfast was simple. For 2 of us each day they laid out 1 bath towel. We found a second one in the closet each day. Seemed a bit strange.

This is such a beautiful ,clean easy accessible for many bars and shops . The staff are sooo lovely breakfast was great a lot to offer , cannot thought this hotel and its location 100%. Recommend for couples and families

Perfect location, lovely hotel… however due to it being an old building and being in the centre of Windsor , outside noise was quite loud late at night .. I assume this is due to what they can do to sound proof the windows/ room.

Great stay, mattress slightly firm for my liking. Hotel was in a perfect location. Great parking available but slightly expensive. Breakfast was delicious, one of the receptionists needs a little bit of training. Otherwise great stay.

Yet another excellent stay. Cocktails 2 for 1 could have been explained more clearly as we ended up paying full 🤔 Didn't bother with breakfast but grateful for the parking

Great location to sites….

The window in the bedroom did not shut fully which meant the sound of the planes landing at Heathrow were particularly noisy. We had been moved down from floor 2 to 1, which unfortunately also meant our view was just the side of a building and the heating systems on the flat roof. Good location, nice amenities, but the room itself did not provide the best night’s sleep I’ve had.

This hotel & the brilliant staff working there (Michael, Matthew, Hannah just to name a few!!!) made our stay in Windsor fantastic!!! Great location 👍 rooms are lovely (ours was a dog friendly room too!!!) classy décor & cosy beds; bathroom was excellent plus large walk-in shower!!! Car parking very secure 👍 We definitely recommend this hotel & we will certainly be visiting again ✅
