We had the *most* brilliant few days at La Sommellerie. This is a paradise hotel that's even better than the photos — the terrace and the pool are beautiful, the team are all brilliant, funny, chatty, and make you feel like one of the family. It almost feels like another world! Our room had a pool view and was very comfortable. The dinner in the hotel was the best we had in France all week, their wine list is excellent and all the best chateaus in the area are within easy reach. My *only* regret is that we didn't get to stay longer, but we will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you to all the team!

The perfect place to stay. The owners were very accommodating and the chef cooked our most delicious dinner in France. A must visit.

Nice location close to town, bucolic setting. Room tight and bathroom outdated, no refrigerator in room which hampered our buying of quality wine.

Beautiful French country house with a perfect pool! Lovely breakfast. Basic but nice rooms with much needed AC during the heat wave. We read the restaurant was great, but it was unfortunately not open the days we were there.

Lovelyy setting near Chateauneuf-du-pape New owners in process of redoing property. Our room small. Sadly no English tv channels. highlight was the delicious dinner in the onsite restaurant. A logis hotel. Easy onsite parking. Breakfast pretty basic. no elevator so had to take luggage up a longer flight of stairs.

Every staff member went out of their way to make our stay special. They also recommended a great Château for us to go wine tasting.

Really wonderful place near Chateauneuf du Pape. New owners are fabulous! Restaurant is excellent!! Has it all - pool, air conditioning, location, fabulous food and awesome owners. Highly recommend.

The owners were a delightful couple offering a very persinal service. They made all guests feel extremely welcome. The food in the restaurant was very good. The hotel is set in landscaped grounds complete with swimming pool. We shall return! Our thanks to Silvio & his wife for making us feel at home.

The hotel had a lot of ambience on the main floor and the hotel desk clerk was nice. The upstairs room was small, spartan, few towels, few electric outlets, TV small with no English. Nice garden view. Breakfast was extremely overpriced do-it-yourself at 16 Euros pp. The shower was okay. Overall, we would not recommend this hotel.

I loved this place. It felt very French countryside. The owners were very kind and hospitable and made every day a true pleasure. The dining experiences were wonderful also. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at La Sommellerie very much. The room was large and comfortable. There is a fantastic restaurant on-site. The hotel is in a great location to tour the Chateauneuf-du-Papes and Cotes-du-Rhone wineries. We would return again.

This is a very nice spot in the Chateauneuf du Pape area, with easy access to the many wineries and an extensive wine selection to try at their restaurant or sitting on the lovely terrace. It’s very good for the price. The bed would benefit from a new mattress.

The owners and staff were super welcoming and fantastic people. The food was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking is on site. The property is charming and well cared for.
