The hotel was nice, but it was advertised as having air conditioning and no rooms had it. They moved us to another of their hotels across the road, very quirky, had the Grecian room, it was called Saint Jane.The shower at the Bernina was a bath with a spray hose, but we moved so didn’t use it. Excellent location to get the Bernina express a 2 minute walk. Breakfast was nice and the staff were very accommodating. If it wasn’t hot, I certainly recommend it, lots of heaters in the room for cooler conditions

The room did not have air conditioning just a pedestal fan. Took a bit to cool off the room with the fan, opening the windows and keeping the door open. Otherwise, a very nice place as well as convenient location for the train station.

Wonderful staff and excellent location for what I planned to do there

The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. Very close to the railway station, so that was great for us. It was quiet and they allowed us to leave our luggage with them on checkout, until we were ready for our train.

Hotel is right next to the train station. Staff very nice and helpful. Room was a little dated, but it worked fine for one night. Room was comfortable in the winter. I would consider staying here again.

Because of the weather I tried to cancel my reservation for Jan 28 2026. The Hotel denied my request, and Hotels.com didn't help. The route was impossible to use because an historic snow storm, so it was impossible to arrive to Tirano. I just lost U$S 180; the Hotel now have my review and Hotels.com just lost a 20 year customer.

Room was basic and clean. Lovely Mountain view. Kettle but no coffee/milk in room. Lovely continental breakfast. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Great for Bernina express. Take your own hairdryer.

Staff very nice but hotel needs upgrade very dated

We stayed for one night only after taking the Bernina express from Chur to Tirano. Lovely and well kept hotel.
