Friendly staff, knowledgeable lovely food and area, room clean and tidy, lovely sea view

The Glengower was nearly perfect in every way. I say “nearly” because total perfection is elusive. The property absolutely gleams. The decor is spot on—antique photos and maps abound. The staff is gracious and professional: Daniel and Liv, who we saw the most often, are standouts.

Friendly welcome, clean, excellent breakfast. Daily room cleaning was a bit variable but not a big issue. Highly recommend, will stay here again when I'm in Aber.

The staff were happy and friendly. Service was excellent. Decor immaculate with a warm cosy atmosphere. Food for dinner was cooked to order and very good quality. Overall excellent value for money.

Has no elevator

Staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Pleasant and clean accommodation. Great location. The cooked breakfast was delicious. The price to stay there was great, especially in comparison to other hotels - superb value. Will certainly be using the glengower the next time I’m visiting Aberystwyth.

Breakfast was tasty with many healthy options. My room was comfortable and clean. No sea view but it was light and convenient The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Cleanliness throughout was excellent

We had an amazing overnight stay at the Glengower. The host was very kind after a very long trip and took time explain everything. The room was tidy and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the server couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return. The view from our room window was amazing.

Lovely hotel on the seafront. Very quiet despite being busy so i had a great sleep. Bar area looks great but i didnt partake.

I had a really lovely stay, my room was small but tastefully decorated. There were a few marks on the wall that could do with touching up. The tea tray was good quality as was the breakfast. The best thing about this hotel it the staff who were all fabulous. Be careful of the parking as its only 4 hours on the front so best park at the back if possible.

The food for dinner and breakfast were great. Parking behind the hotel was easy. The area around the hotel is starting to improve with not a lot of dining options. We had high tide and strong winds so the waves were crashing during the evening which was exciting. The room was spacious and the bathroom was good.
