What a wonderful place! A beautiful room, huge! Great restaurant and service. 15 minutes from the Tilbury Docks. Highly recommend!

We booked the Orsett Hall as was travelling from Norfolk to visit family over the Xmas period. Very disappointed to find out that we was staying in an Annexe around the back of the hotel and not in the main building and in an Attic. Booked this hotel being a stately hotel and very disappointed to say the least.

Large room with large bathroom, sofa, tv, no mini fridge thou. No working plug socket near dressing table, overall lovely room.

Shower didn’t work in the room

Bed not great and pillows too hard. Room was clean, but was basic compared to the pictures. Limited choice in the bar for draught beer.

Stayed several times now and they are consistently excellent at everything

Stayed here at least 10 times now. It’s simply my favourite hotel in the area, lovely grounds, helpful staff, nice bar/restaurant. It’s just a really good hotel.

Room was clean as was the bathroom. Room was miles away from the main entrance. Restaurant was good, at a good price.

Room good. Nice lighting. Unusual. Spacious plenty parking. Friendly but professional staff. Reasonable prices in bar for food and drinks. Food in eve reasonable. Good breakfast. Coffee good. Bed comfy. Gym rubbish but equipment they got in there I use and it works ok. Never seen a rower that had been in the bottom of the sea. My gloves were rusty when I got off the rower😆 So yes, a good hotel. It always surprises me how many hotels get the above wrong. One other thing to mention. The spa should be free to use for hotel guests, definitely. A £10 charge per hour is not really acceptable. I would stay there again without doubt.

This was our 3rd stay at the Orsett Hall Hotel we have never been disappointed. We booked a couples spa package, that included afternoon tea.massage, and then relaxing in the steam room jacuzzi and pool. Our suite was so nice clean spacious with a four poster bed. We will be coming back for a 4th visit.

Wonderful staff, very accommodating and nice restaurants. Location was great for access. Gym is on the small side, but adequate facilities. In room AC didn't go below 19 degrees, so room was a warm. However still a great place to stay.

Our stay was wonderful. The restaurant staff were amazing and the meal was fabulous. All staff were really welcoming. I do not think paying guests should pay to use the spa facilities however.

The rooms are old furniture held together by a rope. Carpets were dirty. Pillows were hard and so was the bed. The room for breakfast was filthy. I.e the table and chairs. The only thing that was move and clean was the bathroom. The entire hotel needs to be redone,

Wonderful hotel and friendly staff. Really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. The breakfast was delicious and it wasn’t the usual buffett, they seat you down and there is breakfast menu, place the order and they make it fresh which was a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay at this hotel next time. Thank you for making my stay a wonderful experience
