⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When visiting Cartagena, we completely fell in love with the city and decided to extend our stay for three nights in the beautiful Old Town near the waterfront. Choosing the AC Hotel Cartagena by Marriott Bonvoy was one of the very best decisions of our trip. From the moment we entered the lobby, it was clear that this hotel was thoughtfully designed for both comfort and tranquility. The interiors are elegant and understated, with beautiful neutral tones, richly textured wallpaper, contemporary furnishings, and soothing décor that immediately creates a sense of calm. Our room featured luxurious down pillows, a high-quality orthopedic mattress, premium linens, and one of the most restful nights of sleep we’ve had while traveling. The spacious bathroom was beautifully appointed, adding to the feeling of understated luxury. Perhaps most impressive was how remarkably quiet the hotel is. Despite being located in the heart of Cartagena’s historic Old Town—within easy walking distance of cafés, restaurants, the marina, museums, plazas, and countless attractions—our room was peaceful and serene, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service we received from Ramón. From the moment we arrived, he anticipated every need with genuine warmth and professionalism. When we asked about upgrading our room, he found us a wonderful room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the sea.

Clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast. Parking is a plus for Spain

Ideal location for exploring Cartagena. Under ground parking is available , but for small cars. Paper cups for coffee in the room were a little strange, and blew off on the terrace when full. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast buffet is adequate, but the coffee machine was very slow, causing waits, possibly needed an extra pair of hands when busy in the morning. We loved Angel on reception. I can recommend.

We arrived early but this was no problem to the friendly staff. We were permitted to park in the hotel carpark which was safe and secure. We ate our evening meal in hotel restaurant and had a fantastic experience, service was exceptional and the food the same. Breakfast was more than adequate with an extensive choice. The room, although not massive was nicely clean and well appointed. Overall very very good.

Great location, good size rooms and friendly staff

The room was lovely, the beds were really comfortable and the staff were pleasant. The only downside was you could hear everything from outside. We was in room 103 and the noise from outside made it difficult to sleep. If it wasn't for the noise it would have been a perfect stay
