Everything was great about the hotel! Staff, room and service. Only thing missing from the hotel room was a iron. Clothes being packed all night from a flight need ironing but the hotel does off laundry and ironing service for a fee. Very close to train and beaches. Many restaurants in the area to choose from! Bartenders didnt speak English but everyone in the front desk did lol. 1 bartender gave my girl a coke with her drink for free while another Bartender charger her for it. Wifi service was 50/50. Going in and out at times. Most tour companies pick up from the hotel which made everything easy! Swimming pool was cool. I would suggest that they offer towels before entering the pool and more beach chairs for visitors who was to tan. Overall, I would book again

Staff was very friendly, helpful & kind! Rooms & hotel were immaculate! Very nice, would return & recommend! Close to beaches, stores, restaurants, etc.

All in all, It's good, but a bit noisy from the pipe in the restroom, especially at night after flushing from the topper floors

The breakfast was good, lots of choices but the WiFi does not work in the rooms . The location is very central and close to a lot of things but they do not have a clothes iron. The staff said they offer ironing but only in the morning and I needed to iron my shirt at night so I had to go without. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms were a bit dated and had mold on some of the tiles .

En terminos generales la estadía estuvo bien, muy buena localizacion. El desayuno a pesar de tener mucha variedad no nos gustó, especialmente el café. Por otra parte el último día decidimos hacer check out temprano para poder desayunar en un restaurante cerca, nos pideron pagar por almacenar las maletas aún haciendo el check in temprano, y el caballero que nos atendió nos dijo sino de estan de acuerdo suban y guardenlas en su cuarto en tono hostil en presencia de dos niños pequeños. La asistencia con los tours muy buena.

I stayed at Rio Royal Palace Hotel for 5 nights during my trip to Rio. The price was reasonable considering I booked only a week in advance. Although check-in officially started at 2pm, after arriving early from an overnight bus from São Paulo I was offered early check-in with breakfast access at 9am for R$300 (£45). Expensive for a few extra hours, but appreciated after a long journey. Breakfast was disappointing. There was variety, but the quality was poor and identical every day. I mostly stuck to fruit and cereal, although the mango juice was good. My initial room was very dated and nowhere near the standard shown in the booking photos. WiFi was also a major issue — devices connected but there was no internet despite repeated assurances it would be fixed. I was later moved to a newer room with a better view and working WiFi after speaking with a manager. The upgraded room was much better overall, although the internet remained slow and the bathroom taps made an extremely loud noise. At checkout, I was charged for minibar water bottles I don’t believe I used, but I was rushing for a flight and couldn’t dispute it. The location is convenient, around a 5-minute walk to Copacabana Beach, although traffic noise is noticeable unless you’re on a high floor. Ratings: Location 8/10, Price 7/10, Room 4/10 (8/10 upgraded), Service 3/10, Breakfast 3/10. Overall, there are likely better hotels nearby for the same price.

Very good location near the Copacabana Beach. The staff were ok but front desk are a bit unfriendly. The room is dark with small window and poor lighting. They charge for water and even for keeping your luggage after checking out.

When we arrived at Royal Palace close to 10 AM, the staff informed us that if we wanted early check-in, there would be an additional $60 charge. They also included breakfast, and our room was ready within about 30 minutes, which we appreciated. The room itself was comfortable, although it did not have a view. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast, as most of the hot food was cold and overly salty. However, the fruit selection was fresh and offered a good variety. One thing I really liked about this hotel was the location. There were many convenient stores nearby, along with several good local restaurants within walking distance.

Had a room with 2 small beds. One bed had a mattress that probably lost a few springs, by the head area. That bed was very small for an adult. Room is small. Staff was great. Breakfast was excellent. The roling toaster need some fixing. Not hot enough. Very noisy people talking loud and screaming loud till 4am. Clientele has no respect for others Overall 3/10. Not coming back.

Esta en una buena locación, cerca de la playa, cerca de todo, el desayuno buffet es delicioso!! Y tiene mucha variedad super rica, lo que deberian mejorar es ciertas cosas en los cuartos como los jabones y el shampoo
