Lovely and clean and tidy with comfy bed. Friendly staff

Flexible friendly staff, beautiful village location, with central London only a short train ride away

The room was clean and comfortable. The main issue was that the pub kitchen appears to have been permanently closed for a long time. This is despite the various references to good food on the pubs website, the option of a cooked breakfast shown on Expedia and a recent review saying the food was excellent which appears to be a review for a different pub. They don’t do food ! Breakfast was yoghurt and cereal in the bedroom. The Italian restaurant round the corner was however excellent.

Lovely place in a lovely village. The village has two other pubs and an Italian restaurant so the fact that this place doesn’t do evening meals is no inconvenience at all. Will certainly stay again.

Lady who checked in was lovely. Village quaint and ideal for train. Room a little bit tired but pleasant.

Very pleasant place to stay for the night after a concert in Wembley. Peaceful village with good transport links to central London with easy and very pleasant walking distance.

I really enjoyed staying here, the room was absolutely full of character with a view of the green and the grand homes of a picturesque village. The owner is charming and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. Its a very traditional setting and environment, and well worth a visit

Friendly staff, nice pub (fun quiz going on when I was there), good food nearby, lovely room, beautiful village. Would be a good spot to visit London from if you want a quiet countryside base (station a nice 15 min walk away).

Just a 1 night stay. Friendly people abd service. Nice room with a view of the green on the 2nd floor. Stair are narrow so not good for persons with mobility problems. Breakfast was in the room- cereals and fruit.

Third time staying at the Falcon and I love it there. Rooms are spotless and comfortable and it’s in a brilliant location.

Really cosy old pub. Nice views and lovely little village with three pubs and an Italian. If you like old school English pub stays with wooden beams this is a lovely place. Bed was comfy, shower was good and breakfast was simple but enough for a continental. A great place if you want to stay just outside of London instead of an expensive inner city hotel.

Absolutely loved the feel of the room, I would definitely return. The staff are really nice as well. Thank you, see you again soon
