The staff were very welcoming, obliging and informative about the area we were staying in. The room was very clean, loved the four poster bed, the view was great. The breakfast was amazing, plenty to choose from on the menu. Location was perfect, just a short walk into town and very close to the rugby grounds.

Lovely room and a fabulous breakfast in the morning. Quite pricey to then have to pay extra for breakfast and parking on top too. We’ve stayed a few times and would definitely stay again.

Lovely room - just far too hot though overnight.

My one night stay at the Ayrlington was good. There were good elements, like the comfy bed and super shower & bathroom, and there were a few elements that were more disappointing . Navigating the stairs with two bags was a challenge, and lighting in the bedroom was not good. Breakfast was beautifully cooked with great views over the garden. A shame then that it was served all in a hurry, and the awkward silence of the breakfast room does not make for a comfortable breakfast experience..

Lovely room, attentive staff, great location

The room and bathroom were spotless, spacious, comfortable, and full of character. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was superb, and the service very good. All in all, a lovely place to stay.

It could definitely do with an upgrade. It is understandable that it would be listed but it definitely could do with decorating. Staff was pleasant and helpful

We had a fabulous stay. The staff were lovely and could not do enough for you. The rooms were perfect, with everything you need. Great location within walking distance of everything. We will definitely recommend and will be back. Excellent value for money.

We stayed in the Poppy room and it was was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Room had some wear and tear, and a bit tired looking. No lift so you have to carry luggage up three flights of stairs.

Lovely room overlooking the beautiful garden, very good size and very clean. Staff were very friendly and a great breakfast. Fantastic location and parking.

Fantastic stay, The Grand Suite was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Highly recommend.
