The hotel was very central; the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very polite and very helpful.

Everything spotless

I stayed for two nights and felt terrible, like I was in a hospital. If you have the financial means, then this is not the place for you. The breakfast was poor. In short, believe me, you don't need this hotel.

We’re so happy for staying at Enter Amalie Hotel. It’s a nice clean hotel with friendly staff,excellent breakfast and waffle buffet at 5pm every day. This hotel is walking distance to our tour meeting points and museums in city center.Thanks to Abi one of the friendly check-in staff.

This was honestly one of the worst hotels around. For the price, pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. Dirty, shower was awful, the bed smelt of the people before us. Check out is at 12, at 11:30 a man let himself into our room while we were getting dressed.

Way over priced. Paid $350/ night for a room that was the most basic accommodations. Motel 6 of Scandinavia.

I had a terrible experience with Enter Amalie in Tromso. i have been staying with Enter properties for a while, and booked it since they carry a decent reputation, however, when i arrived, the room assigned to me was not made up and housekeeping was not done for the room. i had to drive to viking hotel to change my room, and the new room they gave me had people in them. Both they and we were terrified by this experience. It took was 2 hours and 4 trips to finally get a decent room inside viking hotel at 2 am in the night. This was the worst decision of our norway trip. Definitely not worth the pain!!

Central location, very quiet, very good beds, good breakfast

The hotel was in a good location with a spacious room and decent breakfast. The staff was friendly. They provided coffee, cake , fruits as complementry throughout the day which was nice.

Comfortable and clean. It is possible to change temperature of rhe radiator. Hot water in the shower and tea jot water boiling possible in the room.

Friendly staff and great location

We had stayed at the comfort express previously in Tromso but the room was pretty small so we decided to try a more expensive hotel. Enter Amelia was not a lot more expensive but it was smaller and older than the Comfort Express. They offered parking but then I found out it was $35 night and at another property which should be in the details before you book. Loved the breakfast cake and coffee in the afternoon and the waffles at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We booked late having had to alter our flights. Unfortunately we were too late to eat anywhere in the area but the lovely receptionist offered us cookies and coffee. Our luggage didn’t arrive with us but again the receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful this morning whilst we anxiously waited our luggage. She called us to let us know when it arrived - saving us a lot of money buying extra clothes!!
