We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet. A fan was available in the room which helped during the heatwave. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No wardrobe but hooks on the wall and hangers for clothes which was ok as we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly on arrival and at breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Great place to stay and amazing food

What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot. The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything. The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend.

Lovely clean and friendly hotel The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a small hotel. Staff were attentive and very helpful and was great to have a super dog friendly establishment.

Comfy bed, great staff, lovely food. Shower was exceptional too, would go back again just for that! 😂

The food is delicious. The hotel is very well run, the staff are all welcoming, pleasant and capable going the extra mile to meet any needs. Our dog was made very welcome. Highly recommended for a visit.

Stayed for 1 night on a business trip - greeted in a very friendly receptionist, room was as described online and had a very pleasant stay.

Great hotel, great for dogs, food was amazing, I love a good steak, I send back lots of steaks as they are not cooked how I like them but this was spot on... bed was so good, and the breakfast was a great fry up.. could not fault it

The room was really nice and lovely. Staff were great. I would stay here again. The parking was a bit away from the hotel but i didn't mind that as it was nice to walk through the small town centre.

I have stayed here a few times and have always had a good stay. The staff are very friendly, and the food is very good and the rooms have everything you need. I was asked if I wanted to change my room when I arrived as the one I booked had a bath and another room was free with a shower, this was done without me asking, although I was not fussed but changed rooms anyway.
