Hello. The Talbot is fantastic! This is for a number of reasons. Firstly The host. Lovely chap very helpful and very kind. I loved the scampi fries and also Lee loved the cheese and onion pasties. Craig, can you put on some meaty ones for me next time!!! Greatly located next to the bus stop! I've always liked the village, as I used to live up the road in Far Forest. Anyway, just fantastic. One of the thing, I loved the music but I was sorry to have to correct you about one track! Cheers buddy see you again soon. Lee and Nigel

The staff are most accommodating at The Talbot Hotel. The rooms are quite small but clean and reasonably comfortable. The shower door does not stay on track and nearly falls off at times. The noise from the bar and the “disco lights” from the rubbish disposal truck may wake you at 4am. Overall, a bed and a shower, but not much more. Note: We did not have breakfast or supper at the establishment.

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was small but this is an old building so that is to be expected. Super comfortable bed so great nights sleep. Local beer in the bar and very popular spot. Great breakfast and very friendly hosts. Would be happy to visit again.

Lovely old pub circa 500 years old, period features including exposed wooden beams. Only dropped in for coffee, will return. A very warm welcome and friendly service throughout.

Just had a 2 night stay here, what a great place and would highly recommend, comfy beds for a good sleep and great tasty plentiful food. As well as breakfast we also had dinner on our first night - delicious. Staff were lovely and Ben extremely welcoming. Would definitely stay here again
