Great location. Room was spotless. Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Will book there again.

Hotel was very clean and conveniently located to bus, which is free with stay.

One negative point.: The food offered for the breakfast buffet was unfortunately every day the same and not sourced from the area the hotel is located in. That's not what one would expect from a 4 star hotel in Germany.

Excellent stay at this beautiful property on the lake. The spa is lovely and the lady manager was friendly and a pleasure to converse with 5/5. They also have parking on site for €10 which made it convenient

Had a great stay at Am Badersee. The area is beautiful and the hotel is very close to Eibsee lake. Staff was super friendly and attentive and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend

The person on the reception did not speak well neither English, nor German, and it was impossible to understand her. Rooms were mixed up (even though I clearly discussed on the phone that best room is for the bride), instead all luggage were carried in the wrong room. No drinking water bottles were provided in the most expensive room of the whole hotel, which is ridiculous. When we called and asked to order some, we were told to go to the bar and ask for it ourselves. That was only after the person on the phone finally understood what we wanted, because again, neither English nor German was working. The rooms were clean and beautiful. Those with the view really had a great overlook over the lake.

My husband and I had a fantastic time. American Military on a business trip. Will be back soon and will definitely come back. The staff were lovely and the room is cozy and clean. The area is stunning, the perfect location.

We stayed one night in September 2024. Room 286 has a balcony overlooking the lake and the mountains. Geraniums line the deck railing. The room is beautifully designed with plenty of space for your things and it is very well lit. Above the usual care was taken with the lighting, the ceiling painted detail above the bed and the photograph mural on one wall. The best room we have stayed in on this three week trip. Dinner was buffet - it was good with plenty of choice. Breakfast is served in the same restaurant overlooking the lake. Very nice hotel.

Great place, gorgeous in fact, however, very hot and no AC or fans… would only consider coming back in the cooler moths, for sure…

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel Badersee, 5 min on car to Eibsee or you can hike from the place. Room was small and no air-condition but they gave us a fan. Clean towels and bedding, bathrobes included for Spa. 90c Sauna with panoramic view to Zugspitze. Breakfast and dinner very good and large variety. There is a lake at the hotel area and terrace that’s overlooks Mountains. I recommend and would come back :)

Excellent service, very eco friendly hotel, sparkling clean rooms!

We were there for one night and acknowledge the limitations of my experience. It was a fine hotel. The staff was friendly enough, the breakfast buffet had a lot of options, and the property was scenic. The room felt small and dark and left something to be desired. We did have a great Bavarian meal in Grainau, which was a highlight of the trip. If I could book this leg again, I might do Fussen or Garmisch for the Lake Eibsee day.
