We had an amazing stay at Schloßstraße Mittersill and some much needed downtime after three weeks of touring. Our rooms (deluxe balcony) were beautiful, and the views were spectacular. The restaurant was wonderful - we ate breakfast and dinner there every night. As fabulous as the hotel was, what made our stay really special was how well we were taken care of by Csilla and Tanja, They made us feel so welcome.

The staff was truly so warm, friendly and helpful. Our goal for our stay was to relax and fully unplug, and we did so. We enjoyed days of quiet relaxation with spectacular views of the mountains and valley that started with a wonderful breakfast. The evening meals in the restaurant were delicious. The restaurant staff both in the morning and the evening were an absolute delight. Our biggest challenge was probably most due to our inability to understand German. There were details that we didn't find out or understand until later in our planning of our trip. Life was simplified once we came to find out that they would gladly meet us at the Mittersill train station, and that they would have even picked us up at the Zell am See train station for a charge. We wished that we would have found those details earlier in our trip planning days.

Wonderful stay at the Schloss! Rooms are very clean with a ton of character. Parking was easy. Staff was very helpful. We loved the spa area with the sauna and pool. And we had two excellent breakfasts and two excellent dinners at their on site restaurant. Not to be missed!

Schloss Mittersill is a dramatic property with an interesting history. The views from high on the hill are fantastic. The staff was terrific and even provided my wife an I a private terrace dining room with 360 degree views of the mountains for our anniversary celebration.

Too many turns to get to the room. Hard to understand

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the old castle look mixed with some modern interior. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, which led to a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Beautiful hotel situated above the town to provide you with an oasis from the world. Great historic property with old world charm meeting modern comfort. The staff was amazing, the facilities were great. Only note to US guests, the rooms can get a bit hot in August, but we’d stay again!

Great place. Very clean and convenient room and its faciities. Nice pool. A lot of spots to relax inside the hotel. Rooms with balkony at 3rd floor are not air conditioned. At hot days ask for ventilator.

Our family of four spent two nights here in May. What a magical place, the setting is perfect for recharging. There is adventure to be found for sure, however after a busy week exploring Austria on our way to Italy, we simply enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and relaxing with a book. Our suite had a balcony with incredible views of the mountains and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved our stay!

Oh my, it is gorgeous! We absolutely loved it. Tasteful, quiet, and a wonderful location with charming staff.

Most impressive hotel and staff

This is totally worth going to stay for at least a few days!!! An amazing stay, loved everything about it!!!!

Lovely hotel, great spa, stunning views, but the layout (which can't be helped) is a bit odd and as such there wasn't much of a warm welcome when checking in or sign of any staff throughout my stay - which was a real shame.

I knew about this hotel because my father had stayed there in the late 1940s when it was a prestigious driving club. The property is luxurious with nice amenities, expert staff, and in a stunning setting. Even though it rained when we were there, that gave us a perfect reason to enjoy the amazing spa with heated outdoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. The food and service in the restaurant are excellent.

Check in process was amazing. Checked us in while we relaxed with beverages. Then gave us a tour of the castle, showed us our rooms, and delivered our luggage. Luvia helped us and she was excellent. Old building. Fire escapes are not well marked. We paid a lot of money for an upgraded room and the windows are small, so you have to stand up to see the beautiful view outside.

The greeting was cold and short. For a high end hotel the front desk was disappointing to say the least. He barely spoke to us and when asked anything seemed put out. On check out , another staff checked us out and was pleasant. He was sitting next to her and never aknowledged us Our room was just above a room they were renovating and the constant bang bang bang all through the morning was awful. On a plus side the hotel is beautiful and our dinner and breakfast very good. You do have to walk outside to the other side of the hotel to reach it which is a little strange in the middle of winter The suite was large and views were beautiful.

Charismatic castle in good style and shape. The outdoor swimming pool was 30 c and super nice

Superb hotel, beautiful building overlooking Mittersill, extremely comfortable and the staff could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Great view and the room was well decorated.
