The worst stay in hotel I had in maybe last 10 years. It's very loud (noise through walls) and the staff is incompetent to deal with problems.
I requested a quiet room far away from noise. Where did they put me? In a room next to "Family room". How do I know this? Rooms have type names written on the doors. So some genius didn't think that in a family room there might be a child that will cause noise. And to my luck I had a child that was screaming and crying for hours at night. After first night I asked to be moved to different room and I was given multiple excuses and if I want to change room I have to adjust my plan for the day to come at certain hour to move. I didn't get solutions I got excuses and problems why they can't help me. 2nd night again constant screams and crying. Can't change the room because the hotel is fully booked. It's 1:30 at night and I can't sleep. Receptionist have excuses again "oh we usually don't accept children that are noisy" how is this an answer to my complain. How do they verify this. He can't do anything. I had to come up with a solution to move the mattress of the child so instead of it screaming right on the other side of the wall where I have my head to a far away part of the room. Maybe I can get at least 4h of sleep.
