Upon check-in the afternoon person was not very friendly. Seemed like he did not want to be there. We again saw him throughout the days, and he did not look up to acknowledge us. He was buried deep looking down at what I think was his computer. He was however friendlier to guests who spoke Italian. He did not make me feel very welcome. Other than that everyone else was helpful and friendly.

The breakfast selection was the smallest of any of the 15 or so hotels we had stayed at on this trip. The juice was just colored water and the croissants were tiny, etc. Otherwise our stay was OK. We always miss having a kettle in the room for a late-night beverage.

This place has seen better days. Walls needed to be cleaned, the whole place just needs a face lift.

I booked this hotel so I wouldn’t have to go into Rome, and catch a train following morning to Citivechia cruise port. Hotel offers a shuttle to airport where we caught a cheaper bus to the port. Surrounding the hotel many nice restaurants. Hotel is modern, clean and comfy bed and a real bathroom. Little noisy and dark but good value

This is a nice hotel that is near the end of the pier in Fiumicino. It's a good place to stay if you plan to visit Rome and then fly someplace else because it's near the airport. There is a 7 Euro charge for a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and another 7 euro charge from the hotel to the airport, so the cost of going to Rome and then back to the hotel can mount up. The train from the airport to Termini station in Rome is 14 euros each way. The shuttle from the hotel to the airport is a no-brainer, but the other direction is anything but. You have to stand on this narrow piece of cement to wait for the shuttle and it sometimes takes a while to straighten things out. The fifth-floor bar at the hotel has a beautiful view and there are a number of excellent restaurants in the area in addition to the hotel restaurant, which is perfectly decent. I recommend the Tiber hotel but keep in mind the transportation issues.

Room was clean. Staff was helpful. I liked the location, close to the airport but scenic on the water. Book your shuttle and be prepared to pay! Overall well done!

As soon as we entered the hotel, the entire lobby smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We also did not find the staff particularly welcoming. When we arrived on our floor, there was a strange odor throughout the hallway, along with an empty water bottle left out, which gave a poor first impression. Overall, the hotel looked nothing like the photos advertised online. Once we entered the room, things did not improve. The room did not feel very clean — there was what appeared to be a beard hair stuck to the bathroom soap holder. The “queen bed” advertised was actually two smaller beds pushed together, which made for a very uncomfortable and springy sleep. Sadly, this was our worst hotel experience in Rome, and we would not recommend staying here.

Room was HOT, we called and they turned A/C on but in middle of night it was off again and I felt it come back on at 5am. Breakfast was not that special. No shampoo or conditioner in the room. PIllows were hard... scenery not of the sea but of industrial fishing boats... hotel was clean, staff was professional, shuttle was easy ... amenities were just lacking for the price.

Great location with many places to eat within walking distance if you didn't want to eat at the hotel. We had a great view of the harbour and all the fishing boats. A handy shuttle is 10 minutes from the airport. The hotel is very clean, and the staff were very helpful. We would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room, but would stay here again for sure.

The breakfast issue never got resolved. We assumed that breakfast was included in our stay. When we booked it was never mentioned in the rate we paid. Since most all hotels offer complimentary breakfast, we never considered it. BTW, it cost 15 Euros PP PD for a mediocre breakfast. Needless to say we walked a few yards down the street and had our coffee and snack.

Excellent anchor for a visit to Rome. Hotel Tiber proved itself to be convenient, clean, and efficient. The location was good for access to the water, restaurants, and FCO. There is a pool on the roof, and a quaint bar and cafe. The lobby restaurant created excellent dinner options of pasta and seafood, and the lobby barista did a fantastic job on our coffees. Every employee was friendly and helped us with our Italian language skills. We will return again for a restful stay when arriving after a long travel day, and for arriving early to return.

Roof top was great! Nice bar and very pleasant bartender. It was too cold to use the rooftop pool but it looked great! Room was clean and prepared for us when we arrived. Dinner and breakfast at their restaurant was very good. Offer of airport shuttle for a reasonable fee was definitely a plus.

Views are great. Majority of the bar staff was fun and friendly. Food was delicious. Shuttle service was so handy. Room was sufficient for a 1 night stay, close to the airport. Cleanliness was... hmmm... room wasn't the greatest, had a tonne of toenail clippings on our balcony floor, lamp wiring was frayed and hanging out- definite red flag. Breakfast was sad! Cold eggs, cold bacon, watery juice. Both ended up feeling super nauseous later on. Water pressure in shower was horrible But would I stay here for a quick stopover again? Probably
