Beautiful luxury hotel with a perfect location, and intimate settings. Nice rooms and amenities. Excellent service everywhere, very efficient at the pool and beach bars. Very good breakfast, upscale buffet. Terrific a-la-carte restaurants with exceptional staff. Nice spa and excellent massages (Maria and George). Only one downside : a very slow check-in process. Highly recommended.

The hotel is fantastic and the staff always went above and beyond. We dined à la cart every evening and they had great options for us (1x vegetarian and 1x vegan) and they remembered every time. We received a room upgrade on arrival and the private suite with its own pool was mind blowing and very private. We genuinely loved everything about the resort. The only minor suggestion is to offer a water sport or two (sailing catamaran or even a SUP). Otherwise fantastic and relaxing stay. We are desperate to go back already

Had a suite with private pool sea front - lovely room and large outside area. Staff all very nice and attentive. Hotel very clean. Food was generally good sometimes a little bland. Very enjoyable trip to chill out by the pool.

The food was excellent with plenty of choice. Both hot and cold options were available and varied each day. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I had no negative experiences here, the accommodation was as described and extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

the room was perfect, the pool area and the beach was great and accessible. the water park in the sister hotel is very recommended to families with small children.

Beautiful hotel, staff are so friendly and helpful. Facilities great, hotel feel is laid back and luxurious but not fussy. Very clean and beautifully kept grounds. Location is great 30 minute walk to beautiful little town Panormo which has plenty restaurants, bars and a few shops. 30 minute drive into the city of Rethymno. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed base to explore Crete, we stayed for 1 week and felt we could have easily stayed another few days.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The views, food, staff, and amenities were all exceptional. We only stayed for a few days and did not get an opportunity to experience everything the hotel has to offer. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Royal Blue. We arrived on a late flight and there was a problem with our suite so we were upgraded. We could not believe our luck, sheer luxury. The staff were so friendly, the dining experience excellent and we just felt thoroughly spoiled all week. Would love to return.

It was a great hotel, lovely and clean. Well presented and great food and friendly staff. Would definitely visit again. Staff were very accommodating given it was our honeymoon. Although child friendly it was very much almost all adults and the few children and young people around were not disruptive. Some small details could do with touch ups plaster cracked, flaking, cracked steps etc

Amazing resort with everything available. Service was spectacular. We were upgraded to a Villa & it was gorgeous! We had our own private pool! Main pool & 2 private beaches were perfect! We had dinner at Elia a couple of times & food was delicious, service was superb! Highly recommend a stay!

Lovely hotel, in a stunning beachfront location, with a private beach. Wonderfully attentive staff throughout the hotel, in particular Anna who worked around the pool, and in the restaurant in the evenings was fabulous. The buffet options in the main restaurant were pretty good for breakfast and dinner. And the other restaurants - which you pay extra for, had truly delicious food.. in all of them as. Despite the hotel being full, it never felt busy. Evening entertainment could be better, the singer we saw a couple of times unfortunately was not the best. All in all a fantastic stay!

Our 3rd time to property within last 9 years and alway excellence. The staff are excellent, the area very clean, food excellent and our view of the ocean was great. Centrally located which is very convenient. Love island of Crete and its people Will go back

This was the resort we needed to kick-start our honeymoon the right way. They have it all, golf-buggy door service, multiple pools, day beds and sun beds, cocktails by the pool, multiple restaurants and bars, buffet breakfast. The bed was a little firm but our experience here was still very amazing. The staff are so helpful and so kind, we would gladly come back!
