This is the second Barcelo chain hotel we stayed in Spain and again I fell in love how nice the facility and staff are. Staff are very friendly and accommodate and take care of all your needs. They have room amenities that other hotel in Fuengirola that we stayed in doesnt have. The pool, the gym, the bar, the lounge area and live music is really nice. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Great value for money - quality

Excellent. For someone who’s always paranoid about how clean a hotel will be - I was very pleasantly surprised with this place! Staff were very helpful too

Have stayed before and enjoyed this time again, The food was excellent as always and our requests were taken care of no issues. I noticed a few tiles missing out the pool which was not consistent with the rest of the Hotel. The pool bar staff were quite grumpy and ignorant- this may not have been intentional but chatting with colleagues whist serving customers is rude and slows down the already very slow Barcelo process for ordering a beer! Noticed the gym has new kit which was a nice surprise as it had been poor for a couple of years.

Fabulous hotel

Great stay at the 1 bed suite, fantastic views and breakfast.

Pros : perfect location, great brunch, nice view from room’s balcony (beach and mountains) Cons : bathroom was not well maintened : not in great shape, dirty shower floor, mold in the corners; bathroom lights were lighting the whole room which was disturbing during the night, expensive parking

The staff was amazing the entire time. Our room was a corner jr. suite with a great view of the sea. Bathroom was clean, bed comfortable, lots of room with a separate living area... the only thing we were a bit disappointed in was the breakfast buffet... the Barcelo in Sevilla had an amazing spread with fresh squeezed orange juicing machine... this property tasted like frozen or canned orange juice... and the selection in general wasn't as good... but again staff made up for it.. super friendly and accommodating... they even gave us a hand written note, bottle of cava, and chocolates which was a great touch!... the live music in the evening was also a nice touch

I booked a Super Room with a balcony and was upgraded to a Deluxe Sea View on a higher floor. Floors 8 and up have an excellent sea view I was told. My room was immaculate with all the amenities you need. Bed was super comfortable. Decor was light, modern and cosy. All furniture was comfortable also. Great breakfast variety. Hot and cold, savoury and sweet options. Fruit offering was FRESH and choices of beverages was brilliant. The staff across the entire hotel were very hospitable, professional and friendly 24/7. The hotel is well located and the train station and bus terminals are within 20 - 25 mins walk from hotel. From there you can travel to popular stops like Benalmadena, Torremolinos, And Malaga Central. On my return to Fuengirola, this will be my hotel choice.

Lovely newly decorated bedroom with large balcony. Tea and coffee, kettle, mugs and mini fridge in the bedroom also. Very good food at the breakfast and dinner buffets. Everyone on staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Comfortable, clean, and modern hotel.

Staff was ok, very nice! Hotel is on a good location. Hotel is old and need renovation! WiFi is super slow and very bad!

Lovely well kept hotel, you could tell it was the quiet season as the hotel was quiet, only negative during our stay was getting woken up at midnight by cars honking horns for nearly an hour twice, out with the hotels control though. All the staff were lovely.

Beautiful clean well appointed hotel very comfortable staff very good only downside for this was lack of entertainment at the hotel a little disappointing!
