I really loved this hotel. It was the perfect location, a quiet neighborhood but very close to central station with only a 12 minute walk and ferry ride to get there. Also the hotel itself was very charming and had great character that you don’t see in monotonous modern minimalist hotels. Like the flower detail in the bathrooms was so cute! Everyone working there was really nice and welcoming. And the beds and pillows were mad comfy. Would 100% stay again

Staff are polite and helpful. The area is quiet when the children aren’t in the play area opposite. Rooms are a bit dated, they are clean but our room wasn’t cleaned at any point during our 3 night stay it seems. Beds are a bit uncomfortable, only one pillow, wardrobe is spacious, tv has many channel options, no glasses in room but there is a fridge. We had no issues in the area, it’s quiet, on 2 occasions we arrived past midnight and there were no problems. Vending machine and large fridge that they sell water from is useful. No lift, stairs were a bit awkward as the first flight are spiral. All in all not too bad, good location for both free ferry ports, Ujplein is the closest and a fairly straight walk of 6 minutes, the other one near Tolhuistuin takes you through a park, and over water with a bridge and takes a bit longer.

Super friendly staff, beautifully located away from Amsterdam Centraal station and the city centre. Just a small walk to the canal and you can cross for free with a boat. It's a bit of an older building, I think it gives it a nice atmosphere. They have bike rental and a few local shops. Would love to visit again😊

From the moment we arrived, the receptionist wasn’t really warm or friendly at all. During our stay, the room wasn’t cleaned, and unfortunately there wasn’t even basic things like a kettle. Something in the bathroom was broken and it actually fell on me while I was taking a shower! The only good thing was that it was cheap.

Overall pretty basic hotel. Good for a few night stay, the cat Lucy was the best part
