What a find! The hotel was right in the heart of historic Chania with a large room and a comfortable bed. The hotel is wonderfully quirky in its decoration. The high point for me was the rooftop terrace shaded by a grapevine that has a wonderful view of the harbour and, in summer, had magnificent flocks of swallows hunting over the old city. Despite being in the heart of historic Chania my room was quiet. Staff were super helpful in advising of the pick up site for a Samaria gorge excursion. I was impressed with every aspect of my stay here and will definitely be making a return visit. Outstanding!

A wonderful boutique hotel 30 seconds from the harbor front! Staffing was excellent - took care of our postcards, helpful with local information. The room was fine - small, but adequate for our needs. The hotel has rooftop access if you want to chiil. The breakfast was awesome (husmand loved the English Breakfast)! AC worked just fine!

Great staff, basic but nice breakfast, room cleaned every day, like staying in an old house (which it is!) - only negative was the bathroom

What an excellent place to stay in Chania! We spent 6 nights at the Nostos and the location is great. It is right around the corner from the harbor and next to many shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The staff was always warm and welcoming and ready to assist in any way. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day especially when taken out on the bistro tables out front. There is a rooftop terrace that is shaded to enjoy as well. We couldn't have had a better experience!

We loved our stay and it was one of our favorite spots we stayed at. Highly recommend, great location, very unique and lovely vibe. Super nice family that owns the hotel. Highly recommend!

It was exactly what I was expecting from a small boutique hotel. Great location and access to local restaurants and shops. The room isn’t super exciting, small bathroom and not much space around the room. The double room was the perfect size for one guest, but would accommodate 2 with no problems. I would definitely stay here again.

We couldn’t have dreamed of a better location and view from our balcony! This is close to many restaurants and shops. Yannis at the reception desk was very welcoming and helpful. This is old but wonderful. If you are expecting something perfect and new do not stay here. If you’d like something authentic, close to everything in the Old Port and with a breathtaking view of the lighthouse and harbor, this is your place. Make sure you specify room with a balcony. Highly recommend Nostos Hotel!❤️

This hotel was in a great location, the staff was very helpful, a bit noisey as you are so near the harbour but that cannot be helped.

The staff was very friendly and helpful on helping with taxi’s. The breakfast was also very good and a nice table area. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The hosts at Nostos Hotel were immensely kind and helpful, sourcing trip info, timetables, and booking taxis. The building was full of character and beautifully decorated. Location was incredible with gorgeous balcony views (being on the harbour front meant there was noise into the evening, but the vista across the water was unbeatable). Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed for 5 nights. Pros: The hotel is located very central. All the shops/restaurants are around. The staff at the reception are very helpful from the instructions how to get there and booking some excursion. Cons: the rooms needs a lot of TLC. The room was never cleaned, not the floor neither the bathroom. Not even changing the bedsheets, only the towels. The toilet isn't flushing at all. The walls seem like they are made of paper, you can hear everything from the other rooms, the reception and everything from the street and the restaurants (literally every conversation).

Amazing spot, very clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.
