Staff were kind and the room was clean but it smelled a little musty and the bed was harder than I like. Also, I specifically booked a room with a bath, but the mechanism to switch the water from shower to bath was broken, so that was a real bummer. I also booked the wrong day and ended up having to rebook so I paid twice and they refused to refund me. My bad, I know, but they didn't even bother to respond to my many messages about it. Rude. Overall the stay was OK, but I wouldn't stay again.

We were not explained how to use the key for the lights in the bathroom. No a/c because we didn't know how to use the key

Tranquil Hotel Close to 5 and clean

The best location! Comfy beds and friendly staff!

Hotel is in great location, nice place. But beds are hard as rock, it was a Wednesday when we booked and they had a party or reunion in the patio rooftop super loud and screaming until 4am you could’ve heard everything. It was so hard to go to sleep, so I do not recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel with inviting courtyard and great location near the square and amenities. I rented a bike for my stay which made getting around even easier (Playa del Carmen is a great city for cycling). The room was clean and spacious. Staff were courteous and pleasant. Would absolutely stay here again.

It was decent for the price. The area was very convenient to all attractions and dining. Only thing I did not like was having to have the key in the key slot once in room. I know it was to conserve energy but room would be super hot upon our return to relax. The shower door did get stuck and came off but maintenance went quick and I simply asked they could fix later upon our check out. Lobby area was hot too but it’s to be expected. Other than that great price for the convenience of being near everything and one street over Quinta Avenida. Def would go back.

Habitaciones nada aisladas del sonido del exterior. Mucho ruido de los bares de enseguida. Las habitaciones les falta mantenimiento. La ubicación es genial, a un lado de la 5ta avenida, sin embargo por esta razón hay demasiado ruido.
