All good. The room had a bathroom with assistive equipment. Not asked for. Difficult to use. Basin had no cold water to run a toothbrush under. Toilet was lower than normal. A very odd experience

Incredible hotel for a special occasion. The Irish girl on reception was the highlight made us feel welcome form the moment we got there, I'm really sorry I can't remember her name! 10/10 only slight concern is the parking as there are limited spaces but apparently plenty of off site parking available

The hotel is tucked away behind a wall around the property and across the road from the new Dickinson Hill stadium. Staff were brilliant, the place is massive inside, cavernous passages and awesomely huge rooms. The on site restaurant was great, food was very good and the bar well stocked and served by very polite staff. We will definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel. Nice bar area with good staff. Large room with separate sitting area. Only downside was the occasional damp smell in the room and the bedding was torn. Room feels like it needs a good airing but the window appear fixed in place. Stayed here for the football and it’s a perfect location. Corridors resemble a ship which is a lovely touch. Would stay again

I can’t enthuse over this hotel enough. Everything about it screams perfection. The staff are wonderful, the history is interesting, the food is delicious and the beer is good. Also it’s a pleasant walk to the city center. Since Everton’s ground is next door we took in a very interesting and informative tour. The Titanic is highly recommended.

Always enjoy staying here, but really need to plan better for busy periods at the hotel bar. With the football being on the weekend we visited, there was a significant wait for a drink with only one person serving (and taking orders for cocktails etc). Not the staff members fault, but really something the hotel should consider improving, planning to have more staff on shift. We gave up in the end.
