I was concerned when I arrived because I was in the heart of downtown during the World Cup, and this clearly was a bustling location. The clientele all appeared well-heeled and ready for a good time. I personally prefer a low key quiet stay, and I expressed that desire to the staff. They reserved me a beautiful room on a higher floor. I told them that I am partial to quite few pillows and found a veritable pillow fort waiting for me! I had asked for a steamer to prepare a dress for an event I was attending and one was brought to me almost immediately. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel itself if beautiful. Truly the only constructive feedback I could give was that there was no jam with my croissant, and no English Breakfast tea in my room. Both entirely non-issues. I will absolutely be staying here again.

The staff at 1 Hotel Toronto are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They truly made me wish I could extend my stay, with the front desk team being particularly exceptional. The rooms are beautifully maintained and very clean, and I highly recommend dining at 1 Kitchen, where the food and fresh juices are absolutely delicious.

Second time in two month lovely hotel with great staff and great location

My stay at 1 Hotel Toronto was genuinely wonderful from start to finish. The Flora Lounge is a highlight — the lush greenery creates a calming, nature-inspired atmosphere unlike any hotel bar I’ve visited. What truly sets this property apart is the staff. Yaz was warm, engaging, and spot-on with every menu recommendation. The woman managing the pool on Sunday afternoon (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name!) was equally delightful. At Harriet’s, Alejandra (Ale) brought such genuine kindness and attentiveness to every interaction. When my travel plans changed unexpectedly, Jonah, Ify, and Shamar handled everything with patience and efficiency. I couldn’t have felt more looked after. I left feeling like family rather than a guest, and I’m already planning my return with my mom and sister. À bientôt! 🌿

The dining options are particularly impressive, with the hotel's restaurants offering a fantastic culinary experience.

Our stay was amazing, we were staying with our dog and were upgraded to a room with a balcony and received dog friendly amenities like a pet bowl and dog bed. We also received a complimentry welcome gift for our anniversary. Room and bathroom were clean with all required necessities for your stay, and you have a TV that can easily chromecast and allow seamless checkout. I would have provided 5 stars if not for the encounter we had prior to us leaving the hotel. We decided to step out to the well nearby before leaving to get food and on the way back to the hotel since it was hot our dog was panting. My husband decided to ask front concierge if we could get a waterbottle before heading to our car, and the girl working the front gave a puzzled look almost with some attitude and goes "water bottles? no we absolutely dont sell water bottles, do you want me to direct you to a dollarama?" This rubbed me the wrong way as normally - concierge should politely be able to check for you surely for water. Not sure if she thought we weren't staying there and just randomly walked in for a water bottle. Thankfully, the male concierge working with her was able to say "let me check for you in the kitchen" and came out with a water bottle for us. Apart from this incident, the staff were very kind to us during our stay.

The rooms are beautifully designed. The service is impeccable. Would definitely stay here again.
