Amazing! Very pretty- fabulous food!

Bath Priory is situated on beautiful grounds and gardens, loved the greenery and flowers. Our suite was very nice, two large rooms and a full bathroom. On arrival our room was not ready and we were brought to the bar for a complementary drink. We waited 45 minutes for a bar/restaurant member to even acknowledge us although the walked by us almost every minute. Not even a greeting. This level of service was common for the restaurant. At breakfast one day my wife’s meal was served 20 minutes before mine arrived. I could not get coffee one day nor could I get a refill another day. I’m not sure I’ve experienced a restaurant with as poor a service level. It is too bad for a facility with so many things going for it.

We arrived late after a stressful journey and the hotel couldn't have been a better antidote. The room service was excellent, the food genuinely good, and the bath alone was worth the trip. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. We didn't get to experience everything the hotel has to offer, but what we did was enough to make us want to come back and do it properly. A genuinely restorative stay.

Hotel and staff were amazing from the moment we walked through the door they could not do enough to assist to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, I thought I had booked a twin bed room but was given a double, which was quickly resolved with no fuss, the breakfast was amazing, we did not use the spa but the gardens were also amazing an worth a little wander around.

This feels like a country spa hotel, but is within the beautiful City of Bath. It's an amazing place for a lovely relaxing break. I didn't try the smart dining room, but the casual bar and restaurant was perfect and the food was good. Loved the art and this really feels like a family run hotel. Room was gorgeous and I had lovely views across the beautifully kept gardens, which were lovely to explore. There was a Wedding reception in the gardens whilst I was there, and couldn't have been a more picturesque venue. Would definitely recommend for someone who wants a relaxing, quiet break with access to a historic city. I will go back.

The hotel is styled like an Old English country home. It’s lovely and the staff is spectacular. A special mention to George who was attentive, friendly and always professional. This is our favorite property in England!

Overall our stay was pleasant. The room and hotel itself is beautiful. Our issue came with the food. We wanted some food at about 9:15pm sent to our room and all that was available were tiny sandwiches which were not substantial. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels that offer far greater choice and variety with room service, especially when it’s at a relatively normal hour. We had high hopes for the breakfast but unfortunately was underwhelming for a whopping £30 per person I was expecting a lot more choice. The flavours and offerings for a 5 star hotel were sub par. The eggs benedict felt like it was made at a 2 star hotel. I would say that also waiting about 20 mins for each dish was far too long. It looks like the hotel is lacking a proper breakfast buffet reminiscent of what you would expect at a luxury hotel. It’s safe to say although the hotel is beautiful I will not be staying again although the spa and massages we had were lovely.

The hotel was lovely and the dining was fabulous.

Hotel used to be lovely. Now very tired. room had a layer of dust under furniture that looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly for years. Wifi didn't reach the room reliably and TV wasn't connected to aerial. The lounges are worn and they don't reserve some space for residents so you may not be able to use public areas unless you book them. Oh, and don't be a vegetarian.

Great pool. Had the best whiskey sour ever. Room had leftover biscuit and peanuts behind to that added to the character. Fabulous service until the last breakfast which felt like it was struggling with limited staff! Would definitely stay here again.

If you’re hoping for a relaxing stay, this hotel may disappoint unless you’re on the top floor. Our first night was ruined by constant creaking floorboards from the room above, and although we were moved, the same issue occurred again. The rooms are in need of a thorough deep clean and proper soundproofing. To make matters worse, we were very disappointed with the lack of concern shown by staff when we raised these issues at check-out. Overall, the experience was poor and not worth the price paid.
