At check in he said one word passport then threw the passport's to a colleague. My wife is disabled and needed the lift the lift was broken, I presume that's why he was in a mood they took us to a lift around the back which we used then they locked it up , so we had go find them and get it unlocked . We have stayed here a few times before and the reception staff where great not this time of this is how it is now don't think I will be going again

The most amazing place. The staff really do go above and beyond to make sure the guests are happy. Lovely comfortable rooms. Friendly bar. Delicious food. Great wine list. Secure car park with no height restrictions. I think the experience that confirms my glowing review of the lovely staff came as we were leaving. Breakfast was served from 9 on weekends but we had to leave at 6.30 on a Saturday. We were invited into the dining room 2 1/2 hours early! They explained the hot food wouldn't be ready yet but there were plenty of other goodies including hot and cold drinks to help ourselves to. Unbelievable!

Having a boiler or a coffee maker in the room will upgare the service

The property was nice and very clean. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing! The only complaint is that in my 23 years of traveling internationally, the mattress had to be one of the worst I’ve ever slept on (not dirty just extremely uncomfortable). The other guests in our party had the same complaint. It was thin like a couch pull out mattress that had no cushion.

The property was lovely and the restaurant was delicious. We didn’t realize there would be a party outside our window that was very loud, but they stopped right at nine so it didn’t interrupt our sleep. We were disappointed that the beautiful pool was not filled. We were hoping to have a lazy afternoon in the gorgeous pool with the view of the unique building. Overall a good experience.

Looks like a castle, but built circa 2001? Seems to be dedicated to wedding events, - squeze as many guests in as possible. Large, impressive gardens at back but not accessible to 'ordenary' guests. We stayed beginning of April; not very full at all but ended up next door to family inc. small children shouting and running about, had to knock on door at 10:30 p.m. Woke up by dog barking at 6:15 a.m. left 7 a.m. without breakfast. Staff friendly but bar staff only spoke Spanish. Receptionist on checking out said nothing when we said how annoyed we were that in a hotel with apparently so many empty rooms we ended up between a playroom and a dog kennel. ( I didn't use them exact words but I now wish I had.)

Another wonderful stay in this lovely castle. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Dinner was delicious. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Secure parking with no height restrictions - (something I always have to search for on reviews) which I hope will help someone!

My family and I stayed a night at Castillo Bonavia and it was a great experience. The whole place smells amazing, the staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was delicious ❤️

The sheets were stained on the beds, and bad odor throughout the hotel. Definitely not clean and it's on the side of the main high with truckers all over the place. Definitely a bad choice

Only negative was that there was a tub in the room beside the bed but no shower in the bathroom - making showering somewhat clumsy & difficult.

Large bright room, basic but in good condition plus a very nice shower. Good secure parking and well stocked bar. The only thing that let it down were cold fried eggs at breakfast, otherwise it was a good deal for the price.

When we checked in they gave us a room that smelled like cigarettes and wasn't even cleaned yet. When going to the desk to ask for a new room the lady told us they were completely full and they would clean it right away. She didn't know I can speak Spanish, she called the maid on the phone and told her in Spanish to clean the room and spray a lot of spray to cover up the smell. I told the lady I want a different room or my money back and we would go somewhere else. About 10mins later she found me in the sitting area and magic, they had another room to put me in. The new room was clean and ready but the perfume smell was overpowering and gave me a headache. Wouldn't stay again

Perfect for an overnight stay before ferry

We've stayed here many times, at least once a year, sometimes as many as 3 times. Our first stay was in 2005 when it was first open. For us it is a perfect one-night stop when travelling to our apartment between Valencia and Alicante. Everything one could want from an hotel
