The room was clean, but the decor was dated with no dresser drawers or counter space for clothing. We lived out of our suitcases. There was a small closet (maybe 15 inches wide). The bed was advertised as queen, but was in fact double. The staff accommodated us by putting together 2 twin beds. The room was uncomfortably dark even with all the lights on. The hotel decor and artwork was top notch with a hard rock theme; it was the best part of our stay. The front desk staff member was a wealth of information on what to do in the area- he was awesome! We requested a 4AM wakeup call as a backup to our phone alarms, but that call was never received. The breakfast was decent with gluten and lactose free foods. The breads were amazing. Hot foods, however, were either under a heat lamp or simply sitting out cold. The hotel was adequate, but not my style- the hard rock vibe may work well for others.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and kind.

Great hotel

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Oleana. The staff was kind and courteous. We would definitely stay there again! *Side note: Some of the surrounding restaurants provide a 15% discount if you present proof of stay at Hotel Oleana. This was a nice bonus.

Great place!

Great breakfast. That was it. No overhead light Room quite dark. AC did not work properly. Set temp to 18nand it indicated reached but not even close. Mattress would slide off bad. Plus bed frame moved across floor. No return

We loved the staff at Hotel Oleana. Liana at breakfast (I definitely didn’t spell this right) made us feel so welcome and helped us with our Norwegian (although we didn’t need it). The front desk people especially the young man were friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were also friendly and very accommodating. Even the owner gave us some suggestions on places to see in Bergen and in Norway after we leave. The hotel’s breakfast buffet is filled with delicious, very fresh and well prepared foods and the most extensive nondairy options I have seen in Scandinavia. The hotel is centrally located for sightseeing. The room was very comfortable, although the shower set up makes it difficult to contain the water. Many amenities in the room for guest comfort, such as shaving kits, vanity sets, and toothbrush with tooth paste, and robes and slippers. We loved our experience at this hotel.

A lovely hotel distinguished by its art work and overall design. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast (only meal available). Convenient for getting around Bergen on foot or public transport

Lovely clean hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of food. My only complaint was with the lack of cupboards and space in the room.

A quirky hotel, with striking interior deco, within walking distance of all Bergen has to offer. Clean and comfortable room with welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Did not like the absence of a door to the bathroom. While in the shower and with our room door open there was absolutely no privacy. Breakfast was lovely and substantial and location wonderful. Staff very friendly. Nice touch to acknowledge my birthday while we were there.

Clean room. Great breakfast. Limited storage is an issue; lived out of suitcase for a week. Great location!

The rooms are extremely small. The first room we were assigned had no drawers to store our things and the closet was literally 12 inches wide. I upgraded to their largest room and that didn’t have any drawers but at least there was room on the floor to lay our suitcase down. The breakfast was very good with a lot of items to choose from. The location was wonderful, walking distance to everything. Very easy to get from the airport using the light rail line.

Overall it was an ok place to stay, nothing spectacular. They had a nice breakfast.

Breakfast was magnificent! Very close to everything we needed - train station, bryggen, Havila/hurtigruten terminal. Should have taken light rail from airport.

Booked half board. Breakfast lovely. Dinner was just one option for the main meal which was a shame. We had a large family room. Comfortable beds.
