We had a fantastic stay at Ashley Bank Hotel. The setting is absolutely beautiful, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The staff are a credit to the hotel and set the standard for outstanding hospitality. They were warm, attentive, and couldn’t do enough for us—nothing was ever too much trouble. Our room was amazing: spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ashley Bank Hotel. We look forward to returning.

My son had his 25th wedding anniversary here they gave us a room all to ourselves. The table were set out beautifully. The staff were very attentive and efficient and the three course meal was worthy of Michelin star everything was perfectly cooked and the dessert was out of this world and the combination of flavours and textures was perfect. We could not have had a nice meal anywhere. We eat here often, and I’ve never been disappointed., rooms are lovely and comfortable with lovely bedding and soft pillows. I cannot recommend this place, Highly enough.

We recently had our wedding reception and evening celebration at Astley Bank Hotel, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. From start to finish, Veronika and the entire team were absolutely incredible. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our special day ran smoothly. The venue itself was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere created for our reception and evening do was everything we had hoped for. Our guests have commented on how wonderful the service was and how welcomed they felt throughout the day and evening. A special thank you to Veronika, whose support, organisation, and dedication were outstanding. She played a huge part in making our wedding day so memorable, and we are incredibly grateful. I booked myself a little treat of an Afternoon Tea. I received a call in the morning to check if I ate fish or not. I arrived to a very warm welcome, was offered to sit in the lounge or go straight to my table. The table was set next to the window, nice views. Then my hostess came in she was very bubbly and attentive. She bought in soup, leek and potato, it was home made and full of flavour. Then the afternoon tea plate came in, such a magnificent selection of sandwiches, samosas, quiche, followed with so selection of cheese cake, choux pastry and a scone. All for one person and as much as I love my food, I was unable to finish it all and was offered boxes to pack up the remaining items. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

We recently had our wedding at this venue and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. From start to finish, everything was handled with such care, professionalism, and genuine warmth. A very special mention has to go to Veronika, the wedding planner, who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. From our first meeting right through to the big day itself, she was organised, reassuring, and always willing to help. She made everything feel effortless and ensured every detail was exactly how we imagined it. We’d also like to thank Bill, the MC, who ran the meal service and the timings of the day perfectly. Everything flowed so smoothly thanks to him, and he also did a fantastic job coordinating the evening reception. Another special thank you goes to Heather, who was quite possibly the kindest member of staff on the grounds. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, and her warmth and helpfulness really stood out on the day. The whole team made us and our guests feel incredibly welcome and looked after. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their special day.
