Beautiful property, delicious food and an amazing staff.

Was happy about them upgrading our room due to renovations

Property could use a bit of exterior maintenance but room was comfortable and clean. The provided amenities were typical and satisfactory. Enjoyed my stay here.

An excellent location. Excellent parking. Beauty view. Incredible restaurant. Management and staff who truly care. Management is very in tune with everything around them, and show a clear focus on providing a premium guest experience. All hotel owners, management and staff should take a page from the fine folks at the Old Orchard Inn, and how they are committed to making improvements every day. Large and small details alike get their focus ... * Premium check in experience. You can see the focus on continuous improvement here. * Little things like recently moving vending machines and trash bins closer to the front desk to be more convenient and practical for guests. * Smiles and engagement from staff - custodians, restaurant, lobby, management, etc. * Very approachable staff. Very accommodating. Excellent communications. * Went the extra mile to ensure my family and I were very well treated and that we have a fantastic experience. Even paid attention to a minor note in a prior email that it was our son's 19th birthday and added a special touch. Very classy! The management and staff at the Old Orchard Inn truly care about their guests' experience, and this was on full display especially at our last stay. Can't thank James Clouthier and Mark Lowe enough. We will see you again soon, Old Orchard Inn!

I truly believe the staff are not happy with their jobs!. Everyone seemed very unhappy!. No smiles at all.. spoke very sternly. It's very odd to see this behavior in Halifax as EVERYONE we dealt with was over the top friendly.. Even in the big city of Halifax.. The hotel there went above and beyond.. Not so much at the Old Orchard Inn. Check in was with a robot!.. Not a nice person to be checking people in!. The hotel itself was very busy with Children running in the halls all night long. You can hear everything in the room. Not a great place to stay!

Beautiful inn, service was outstanding, drive up room and all the amenities I needed were readily available.

Staff was great (female working 1st April was great at 1pm) the gentlemen in breakfast area helped me make a waffle was a lovely person! Appreciated all the nice friendly staff! Room was perfect !

I’ve stayed at the Old Orchard Inn many times over the years. I was impressed with the upgrades to the rooms and appreciated the extra touched such as robes in our room.

My room was great but my experience in the restaurant was not. The servers appeared to be stressed and it wasn’t that busy. Took awhile to get seated and to actually get served. The restaurant was a beautiful atmosphere, thought the service would match the setting. Food was mediocre for the price. The coffee was terrible and not sure why we had to pay for it when it was free at the front. It was an interesting visit. I would stay again but would eat elsewhere.

We went for a 1 night stay, staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The resturaunt was fantastic! The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub(s). The beds were really comfy and cozy. We will be going back for another stay-cation! 10/10
