We stayed here for one night during a long drive, and it was exactly what we needed. The hotel is very decent for a roadside stay. While the amenities might be basic ("minimalist"), everything was clean and well-maintained. Most importantly, the beds were very comfortable, allowing us to get a great night's sleep before hitting the road again. Simple, clean, and reliable. Highly recommended for travelers!

Stayed here for 2 nights. The 2 receptionists that we saw were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Disappointed that there was no lift which we wasnt aware of My husband and l are both retired so carrying a large suitcase up 2 flights of stairs was quite a task. The first night staying there was chilly so we covered ourselves with our dressing gowns... the 2nd night was quite windy. We were unfortunate to have a room with the B&B sign right outside and it was creaking and rattling most of the night... had noise for other guests banging doors and a child crying at 1.30am....the 2nd morning we decided to have breakfast... big mistake! We arrived downstairs at approx 9.30am. There were 12 people queuing in front of us. Felt sorry for the receptionist on duty as she was definitely under pressure. No trays, no coffee cups, no teaspoons for yoghurt, hubby had to use a dessert spoon, no little dishes for preserves for my croissant, l had to use a tumbler...no sausages only bacon which was sitting in fat. The scrambled eggs were cold. Got to the coffee machine and it was out of action, the put my glass under for a glass of orange and that was empty!! People were continuously asking for items. I've never been to a B&B hotel....and we have been to a few....were the breakfast was an absolute disaster. Overall very disappointed with this one so will not be returning unfortunately

Rooms are ok but heating is set to a certain temperature and cannot be raised. When it's freezing cold outside I want the opportunity to raise the temperature if required. Was told that it was set to 19 degrees but that is not the case it is much colder than that. Luckily I am transporting my own bedding for a future stop so will use my own duvet in the room. I don't expect to pay for a hotel and have to use my own bedding to keep warm.

My feedback is in no way a reflection of the staff who in the morning especially struggled to keep a high standard working on her own. First, my bad, I didnt realise there was no lift and being in our very late 60s the first floor was still an effort to get to. The room was fine, bathroom tighter than our regular B&B in Chartres. We decided for our second final morning to have, what we had come to expect, a good filling breakfast before our 3 hour drive home. Now I would have thought knowing how many breakfasts were booked extra staff would be called in. Not have 3 cleaners on one floor. This caused issues, no trays, no cups, no teaspoons, coffee running out, orange juice running out. A very bare selection compared to the photgraphs on the website, in fact nothing like at all. Scrambled eggs warm, a few pieces of bacon in oil, no sausages in fact no heated bowl for them at all. The bread display photograph is misleading completely. Certainly well overpriced with products missing. Again the lady on her own tried her best. I certainly wasted the money for 2 breakfasts that were way below the standards we have had before at B&B. Unfortunately definately one we will avoid later this year. Same price as Chartres there the comparaison ends. Following the reply from the hotel... the lack of products was the issue.. the advert photos no way reflected the missing products during our visit and a 9am breakfast. Serious staff shortage.. ie 1 member of staff with 3 cleaners on 1 floor?
