Very central, with very large, but very used, public parking right behind (cost £4 for 2pm-11am next day). Extremely cheerful and helpful girl on reception, who also brought extra pillows. Room was up in the roof because we wanted twin but had a large velux that could be opened as it was a bit warm [ which ultimately proved to be somewhat less helpful due to it being one of the town's seemingly once a month free techno raves in the main square till 1am - best check!. ] As a result people came back late and there was noise from doors but generally I would think that the hotel would be very quiet. Indeed it seemed to be have rather few guests for its size. Good but expensive restaurant literally next door. Otherwise only 500yds from square. Wifi fine. Shower good and right temp. Breakfast is 15 euros and was OK but frankly a little skimpy.... small amounts put out of everything making you feel a little guilty to take what to me would be a reasonable amount. One MAJOR thing wrong - itself completely bizarre. There was a bedside lamp which seemingly didn't work. But it came on when you switched on all the lights by the entrance. But it couldn't be operated individually - if you switched off all the main lights it went off too. So there was no way to see to the bed (and there are low beams). Extremely frustrating. Generally for an overnight stopover a reasonable price and if they sort out the light it would be a good choice.

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was beautifully presented and eating breakfast outside in the garden was lovely. Room had everthing you'd need - including a fridge, kettle and two fans. Bed was massive and very comfortable. Lovely market on saturday morning and close to many shops and places to eat. Would definitely stay again.

The room and bathroom was very clean and tidy .

Friendly and accessible

It was a pleasant surprise, I did not know Aalst and was looking for a hotel near Affligem. it is really easy to travel from Aalst without the traffic from Brussels or Antwerp. it is a 3 star hotel with 4 star quality. The personnel is really nice and looking after you. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable, nice decoration and some state of the art tech in the rest room. They have a newly opened gastronomic restaurant, which was the best surprise as I was not expecting this but rather more a brasserie type of restaurant. Wine and food were excellent.

Wendy was AMAZING! She greeted our group and took the time to explain everything more than once (we had a large group) for everyone. She even recognized us on the street later and asked us how our trip was going. The room was large and clean.

Lovely hotel, and kind staff got our breakfast early so we could head off to catch an early ferry. Aalst is a nice town to overnight.

Small, quite hotel. The facility was clean, the breakfast good. Husband and I really enjoyed the sitting area: nice music and calm.

During the week we stood nobody cleaned the room. Also heater had problems.

Clean, spacious and nice rooms , modern bathroom . Breakfast offer was superb.

Made very welcome on arrival, parking is in public car park behind Hotel (easy walk back to Hotel) at only 3 Euros for the night. Easy walk to town for shops and bars. Restaurant next door to Hotel (and recommended by the Hotel) is excellent. Enjoyable breakfast. Very good stop off Hotel.
