Great location from which to explore Heidelberg. The room was clean and the staff were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was very basic. I would return to this location the next time I visit Heidelberg.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of old Heidelberg, and wonderful for enjoying the Christmas markets.

Good location but hard to find and learn where to park etc. No internet service for 2 days with no urgency to fix it. Very small room and bath.

They switched us to their castle hotel property which was nice and the folks were friendly.

Well located for the historic centre and castle and local shops, bars and restaurants. Large, newly refurbished room, large well appointed bathroom, lovely comfy bed with crisp, fresh bedlinen, very helpful desk staff. Room overlooks pedestrianised street and its many well refreshed students returning to their books at 3.20 am. Vehicle deliveries to local shops and street cleaning trucks also early in the morning so you may want to pack earplugs

No parking, no elevator, very dated, breakfast in small crowded room.... Felt almost like a hostel.

This clean, comfortable hotel is right in the High Street of Old Heidelberg. Everything is within an easy walking distance. We dined there the first night and found the food delicious and filling. A good experience, which we have no hesitation in recommending

The service from all the staff was excellent and super friendly. I appreciated the reception being staffed 24 hours a day. The breakfast was nice too.

We really liked the place. Charming historic building, really terrific service in a great location in the middle of Old Town. would definitely stay there again! The restaurant downstairs is as good as any in town, too.

Very close to everything that happens on the old town, we saw people on the street up to 3 AM

The hotel is a bit outdated. There is no elevator, so be aware if you have a heavy suitcase that you need to haul up at least to get to the reception, which is not on ground level. Breakfast is simple but good. Location is fantastic, in the heart of the main street in the old town, which is very lively at all times. If noise from the street is an issue for you, it may bother you. We don't mind and actually love being right in the middle of action. Wifi was great. Parking is in public garage nearby, works perfectly. Attentive staff and close access to Christmas markets!! We ended up lengthening our stay in one day to enjoy Heidelberg a bit more.

The hotel has and old style feel and is in the middle of the old town. It is any easy walk around the points of interest as well as the modern end of town and shops. Plenty of restaurants around.
