I would describe our stay as okay however the photos on the hotel.com website does not reflect how the hotel/accommodation actually looks, parts of The Best Western in Bury St Edmunds needs refreshing with money spent on carpets and decor. The patio area not only needs cleaning but the smell of cat feces is overwhelming in warm weather.

Room located away from main building in a courtyard, which we like. Air conditioning. Twin beds comfortable and room good size. Bathroom clean but abit dated. Staff friendly and helpful. Pub that serves food just across road Easy to get bus into centre Would recommend

Express check in was useless, didn’t work and took a while for staff to turn up on reception. Room was nice apart from loads of dead flies on window sill. Got woke up at 5.20am with a lorry collecting waste from the kitchens!!

Loads of parking, clean, however all a bit dated considering price. I had a deal so was much lower priced then would have been.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming,our room was good, let us check in slightly early,our breakfast was nice good continental choices , bright breakfast room if I had to raise some negative comments ,walls are thin could hear next rooms TV till midnight,no vegan sausage at breakfast tea bag marks splashed on wall room 42 😊

Staff were amazing as were the cookies on arrival!

Very impressive grounds and gardens

Rooms were clean, equipped with what you need. Lovely touch to leave sweeties in your room. Beautiful gardens, and very friendly staff.

Second visit to best western priory hotel staff very helpful and friendly rom was great stayed in same room as last time ( disabled ) looking forward to our next visit .

Very helpful staff, spacious and warm room

the room was comfortable and clean - if I wanted to be really critical there are small amounts of black mold around the bath and embedded in the bottom of the shower screen. The bar /lounge was comfortable and the food was great as were all the staff we engaged during our stay

Staff were friendly and polite. Room was clean. Strange knocking from the plumbing in the bathroom was a pain.

Room was huge. Nice setting in a large garden area. Peaceful. Lots of parking. Good breakfast. Recommended.

Hotel was inviting and clean and staff were friendly and very helpful. Had a very nice evening meal there too and breakfast was great. Only slight negative was two very narrow single beds in our room.
