Hotel needs an upgrade & update in many things, including maintenance. Nice building in a beautiful neighborhood but it lacks regular maintenance!

This is my second time staying at OWN Montevideo. We had an excellent stay, mainly due to the friendly and caring staff. Also, it is particularly convenient that they serve breakfast until 11 am.

It was an appropriate 3 Star, small rooms and very slow elevator. Very close to the beach for sight seeing not swimming.

Great location, plenty of bars, restaurants & shopping in the area. Breakfast room was very narrow, difficult to manoeuvre round when busy.

The hotel is correct, felt a bit unfinished, specially basement parking. More similar to an apart hotel, then a hotel, but room was big an confortable. Very clean and neat. Great bed.

Todo lo importante que debe existir en un hotel esta presente. La atencion a la llegada, excelente. Las indicaciones y la ubicacion de primera. la zona es la ideal para estar en Montevideo pues posee salida a los sitios de interes mas importantes. El desayuno comienza a las 7 am, sin embargo,teniamos que partir muy temprano y pudimos disfrutar de un delicioso y completo desayuno. En sumatoria, el lugar para hospedarse en la ciudad

We stayed one night because we were moving into our new home, just around the block. First impressions matter: we arrived late at night, exhausted from a very long flight. We had a lot of luggage. No luggage carts to haul it inside the building and of course, no doorman. So, the very nice evening concierge helped us. To us, no carts is something bewildering. We wanted to take a shower that night, but there were just 2 bath towels in the bathroom, so we waited until the next AM. Lastly: Shower had black fungus all around it. Now, I live in UY, and know this can happen due to the high humidity of the local weather. But, one has to constantly fight it. It is unacceptable in a hotel of this rating. Period. Plus, the room was dusty. Someone should check every day that the cleaning is done properly. Finally, another unacceptable thing happened. We went to have breakfast and were reminded of its closing time at least 45 minutes before by the woman in charge of that area. I find this rude. We felt we were being kicked out. We did not complain because we had already done so regarding the above mentioned details and we did not wish to be a pest.

This is an excellent option for business trips. I strongly recommend arriving early for breakfast, because the restaurant area is quite small and can get packed quickly. As an Expedia member, they pampered me very well with a nice room. The only issue is that the window next to the bathroom doesn't close fully.

Room spacious. Great area. The bed is not a bed, it’s a block of concrete. Breakfast very very basic.

Great Hotel. Great Staff. The only problem was that at dawn all the daylight came in through the bathroom window and it was impossible to darken the room to rest. Near restaurants and Shopping mall

My partner and I enjoy our stay. Everything was clean, breakfast was really good, the staff is amazing and the area is beautiful. Loved it!
