Outstanding hotel with incredibly helpful staff. Beautiful landscape and layout. Excellent facilities. Spacious room with supremely comfortable bed. Accommodated allergies well. Two minute walk to shingle beach. We would return in a heartbeat if not for one important snag - the restrictive hours for children in the two pools. Only 10-11am and 3-5pm. Surely at least one pool could be allocated for children

Entrance signage poor . Hotel faculties excellent and location . Staff were very , courteous and helpful . Accommodation was spacious and comfortable however house keeping needs improvement ie soiled toilet brush , requested green tea but not received and cookies were not supplied every day .

An exquisite hotel. Wonderful character in the main buildings, with the cosiest of lounges & bedrooms. Delicious food served in an intimate setting. A gorgeous spa with long standing highly experienced therapists. All staff go above and beyond. I cannot fault or recommend highly enough.

We enjoyed the heated pools, the beautiful grounds, but missed out on seeing Archie (the resident peacock).

I took advantage of a midweek good rate This is a very special place indeed. Cozy room and The bed just enveloped me The food there is fine dining. Very lovely. The spa is amazing. Warm pools and hot jacuzzis. Its all just lovely.

Beautiful setting for our special celebration with the family. The staff were wonderful & responded to all requests efficiently and with a smile. We were provided with a separate room for our evening meal making it even more memorable.

Perfect spa day and evening in a stunning room. Brilliant breakfast and staff were very helpful. Absolutely beautiful everywhere you go around the hotel and gardens. We had an absolutely wonderful time with my daughter.

Disappointed with our room which was overlooking the kitchen and bin store. Photos were sent but had gone to my junk mail. Don’t feel that the cost of the stay was justified. We didn’t feel we could sit in the room and relax with the noise from the kitchen vents. The bath while lovely had lots of limescale and this could be easily resolved with some Viakal. We had previously visited for a spa day six years ago. This time the drains were obviously blocked and the water from the showers was flowing back into the sauna. Just needs a bit of TLC. Beautiful meal in the restaurant and service from the restaurant staff exceptional.

This hotel is just beautiful, everything is just perfect, the staff are terribly helpful, perfect stay not a negative comment to make

Stunning. Whether in winter for cozy fires or in summer for the pool and beach, a special place with excellent service. Very dog friendly and we found our classic room spacious and comfortable

Was a nice place and unique features. Only complaint was value for money and for price would have expected better room features and our Sussex room wasnt like photos.
